Prince of Persia

Prince of Persia is the latest game I have gotten for my GBC. In fact, I got it for Christmas, and never got around to playing it until just recently.
Boy did it suck.
GRAPHICS: 7/10
OK, the graphics weren't too bad. But what the heck? What's with your main character? He doesn't even have a face! What's up with that? I mean, his head is just a blank mound that's vaguely head shaped. Screwed, that's what it is. And also, the guards you fight all look the same. And in fact, no one has a face beyond some weird coloration that's supposed to be a beard, I suppose.
The one saving grace was that the animation was superb. Your guy runs and jumps just like a real person would. Too bad it isn't very effective.
SOUND/MUSIC: 2/10
Stupid music. There isn't much of anything, just three or four boring tunes that last about five seconds then that's it. Nothing during the levels.
The sounds are pretty basic. Swords clashing together make a clashing noise, and falling to your death ends in a big smashing noise. I really thought they sucked, actually, as they seemed weird. Don't ask my why; they just were.
CONTROL: 1/10
Simply awful. Your character mysteriously runs TWO steps at a time. You can go one, but it's painstakingly slow and tedious. You can long jump, but half the time it fails and you fall to your death. Doing a normal jump carries you right off the narrow ledges you encounter. Result? Death. End of story.
GAMEPLAY: 1/10
Very boring and repetitive. All you do is run around, kill guards that all look and fight alike, and jump over pits. And since this game has appeared about forty billion times, nothing is original. They even took the name Jafar from Aladdin. I could have made a more original game, for crying out loud!
Sword fighting is stupid. You can attack or parry. Parrying is useless, since you can't time it right. Rather, you just attack at the right moment and they die usually without hitting you. That is truly pathetic. Your character can all too easily fall to his death, which is really irritating later on when time is short. You have about an hour to beat the game, but I gave up after level three because the game was repetitive and boring. How could anyone like this game?

Way too hard. I don't care what you call me. This game is so bad it's nearly impossible. Need I say more?

Neither. Destroy it on sight.
OVERALL: 1/10
I hated this game. Do yourself a favor and NEVER EVEN COME CLOSE TO BUYING IT. You hear? Never. Ever, ever, ever.
