Warlocked

"Who knew the GBC could have a decent rts game?"

Warlocked as some of you have probably guessed is a real-time strategy game, like starcraft, command and conquer, age of empires, etc.

What is it? Ever played Star-Craft? Well imagine that with a medieval theme to it with archers and dragons and such.

Graphics - 10
Definantly push's the Gameboy Color's graphics to the max. Well it may not be that pretty to look at, but imagine it having to calculate every millisecond the locations of 20+ units all at the same time on a huge map.

Sound - 10
The music is actually quite good. But the sounds get repitive though after constantly commanding a unit to go somewhere and hearing the same noise time after time. The music is ver very nice though thats why I have this category a 10.

Gameplay - 9
It plays exactly like starcraft. Except with Wizards. Wizards can do some awesome stuff like summon creatures, make certian units invisible, make earthquakes, turn enemies into pigs, turn enemies into energy, raises the agility of some of your troops, and alot more. The Quake-Wiz (the Wizard that can cause an earthquake) is the most powerful, im pretty sure you can beat the WHOLE game with just that one unit. But the thing is once one of your Wizards die you'll never get him back unless you find him somewhere in a level. The bad part is that not all of the Wizards are in a cartridge so you'll probably have to trade with your friends (damn pokemon) to get them all. The only reason I didnt give the gameplay a 10 is that the game is too easy, once you have beaten the game you can get through again in a wiz, hehe.

Replay Value - 7
Once you have beaten the game I doubt you'll beat it again, but the first time through will be a very fun experiance.

Best Feature - Portable Real Time Strategy!
Worst Feature - Too Easy

If you like RTS games, then get this game as soon as you can. If you dont, then well you might want to stay away from this game. Also if you a really really good RTS player, then you might just want to rent the game because of how easy it is, but for most people it'll put up quite a challenge. So you best check it out.
