The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages

Review by Sir Gareth

"Nintendo's done it again!"

Rarely do video game companies make more than one game that so wonderfully represents what the words ''video game'' mean. Nintendo has done this, with not one, but two awesome new titles for the Game Boy Color: The Legend os Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. With a new link system, you can link to the second game once you've beaten the first. It doesn't matter which one you play first, though. If you want the whole story, you have to play both games.

Graphics: I can't really say too much about the graphics, as it is a Game Boy game. However, vibrant colors and environments make up for it.(watch the opening sequence!) 9/10

Sound: You just gotta love that classic Zelda theme. I think that this game just about pushes the limits of the Game Boy Color with smooth, even overworld tunes, and awesome dungeon songs. Put the volume ALL the way up for this game.
10/10

Control: Slightly different from LA, in the fact that certain items do different things, and some new items may take some time to learn how to use well(the switchook comes to mind), so if you're used to playing Link's Awakening, it may take a little while to readjust to new stuff. Otherwise it's fine.
9/10

Gameplay:I could not possibly go on enough about how extensive this game is. With 64 rings to collect, and so many things to do and items to get with the linkup system, you'll be playing this game long after you've caught all the Pokemon:)
10/10

Replay Value: First you'll play one of them. Then you'll play the other. Then you'll do it again. And again. And again, what else can I say? It's a Zelda game, you will NEVER get tired of it.
10/10

Overall:If you're a Zelda fan, or like Action/Adventureish RPG's, get this game. If not, get it anyway, this game rocks. You MUST get it. It is well worth the 30 or so dollars you will spend on it.
9/10

I can only imagine what is in the future for Zelda games on the Gamecube and Game Boy Advance. If they are even slightly better than this game, you know they'll be great:)
