"X comes to the Gameboy!"

Mega Man X games have always been fun(with the exception of X5 in my opinion), not very difficult and have had a high replay value, and this is a good Sub-Series addition to the X series. Xtreme definitely adds some new twists to the X series!

Story: 5/10
Apparently it takes place between X2 and X3. Basically a hacker hacks into the system and causes mayhem which causes the past to repeat itself and X must defeat previous bosses again. Not a very good story, but solid.

Graphics:9/10
The graphics are very advanced for Gameboy Color, Mega Man's, Zero's, Dr. Light's, and a bunch of other sprites look a little strange, but there very good.

Control:9/10
Mega Man games controls have always been perfect and it fits the bill in this game too! But i find it a bit difficult to dash.

Sound:10/10
Of course X's X-Buster(Which is probably the only sound in the game) sounds good.

Music:10/10
Mega Man X and X2 music where great and we get a repeat of them! The music is overall great and catchy also!

Replay:8/10
Fun to play, has quite a few secrets, and will pass time. Not to mention it's portable so you can enjoy yourself anywhere. But it does get kind of boring after beating it 5 times in a row.

Difficulty:9/10
This game(surprisingly) has a high difficulty unlike many other Mega man games. But once you gather all the parts, it lower down to 7. Most of the bosses and mini-bosses have been upgraded and are much more challenging. You want real difficulty? Try beating the game without X's armor enhancement or any enhancements. He takes WAY to much damage from enemies without it.

Overall:9/10
This is a fun game to play to pass the time. It rarely ever get's boring. Unfortunately, the stages are a little shorter and are missing a few enemies(to fit Gameboy Color obviously) but it is still great fun. But one thing I hate is you can't see a darn thing in Spark Mandrill's stage at some points unless you are in a very bright place.

Good Points:
The bosses are more harder
it's portable
it's fun
the replay value
hey, it's a Mega Man game!

Bad Points:
Could be a bit more difficult,
Some bosses are a little easier this time

Buy or Rent:Buy, even for a none Mega Man fan it costs about $30! Besides, I don't think you can rent it.

Since Capcom is going to make an Xtreme2, we can enjoy ourselves even more!

Overall:9/10
