Introduction of the game
I am a previous player of the Harvest Moon Series. I played the ''HM SNES'', the ''HM 64'', the ''HM BTN'' and is hopefully gonna play ''HM STH''. But I've never played the Gameboy version of Harvest Moon.

So I was awfully excitied when I finally bought this game, hoping that it would be a classic like the other HM series.

But boy, was I wrong. It might not be the WORST game, but it surely disappointed me. Especially with the introduction. It's so different from the other ''Harvest Moon'' games...it's so different that it's just not ''Harvest Moon'' anymore...

Story: 3/10
The plot is weird...it's simple, yet strange. One random day, a 'god' thingy comes to you and tells you to run a farm. And you do...okay, they are missing the lack of info here! You don't just run a farm because someone tells you to, let alone it's a complete stranger! Shows how poorly the game is designed...

Sound: 6/10
The sound is okay, not TOO annoying. Yet not the most decent music around here...It sounds nice at the first few minutes, but after that, you should consider turning off the volume.

Graphics: 8/10
The color/colour for the game is simply amazing. Everything is color/coloured so well. Especially the cute animation, I like the cows and the chickens! They look really decent!

Replay: 7/10
Yes, it gets repetitive very soon. But there are different crops to grow each season. And when you are short on money, you may sell those little mushrooms inside the cave. But when it's Winter, it gets extremely boring, unless you bought a chicken or two (or a cow).

Gameplay: 8/10
Pretty nice. It's the same as all the other versions in Harvest Moon. You plant crops and raise animals. You earn money by harvesting the eggs/milk/crops. And you waste money by buying animal feed and seeds. It's a simple routine. But there are a little nice twist here. You can discover 10 different power berries, you could upgrade your tools (how? It's a spoiler if I told you!) And other special secrets that makes the game more interesting and fun!!!

Comments: If you ask me. Out of all the Harvest Moon games there are...this one is pretty bad. May be it's harsh, but true. However, this game is still pretty good. Even if there aren't much action to it. Then again, if I didn't look at this game with another point of view, it may be different. Anyway, it's a nice game. But there are lots of flaws, so I give it a 7 out of 10. Not the best game, but a GOOD game! Nuff said ^_^
