"[Insert card pun here]"

Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter 2000, the Pokémon Trading Card's gripped the world, after arriving in the United Kingdom, It was never the same again. The cards are now haunting innocent civilians in the streets of London, Blackpool, Liverpool, Hull etc with massive, old bill boards advertising the card game. All we needed then was a videogame based on this matter.

Pokémon Trading Card Game is not the best of games to play on the Gameboy Color, although it is very fun to play. When I said, Not the best of games, I meant it is not one of the best of best of games. Though, I think it does have the best graphics then any other game (Next to Alone in the Dark) on the gameboy color.

Pokémon Trading Card Game is set in a distant land of the Pokémon world. The island is quite small, but offers eight pokémon gyms, a training lab and the Elite four dome. It is a mini world of the Pokemon Blue and Red but with cards. It even has a Gary-like rival who is always better then you, this adds a lot of RPG Elements to this erm... RPG.

The aim of Pokémon Trading Card Game is to get cards (well duh!) which have Pokémon pictures on them with scribbles. Those who have spent a fortune on Pokemon Trading Cars in the past should get this game for £25 to save a lot of money.

To gain a packet of cards, You need to win battles, these are either tough or easy as pie. You can also trade cards with some of the many Pokémon Trading Card Game freaks inside the gym's.

Pokémon Trading Card Game works as a RPG, Without random battles and mystery girls from the east, it does have the turn based battles and the ability to explore wherever you wish.

You start Pokémon Trading Card Game battle's like this. You have a deck of 60 cards which you customized yourself. You draw the few of the top cards from your deck and start fighting. You start off with a basic pokémon, You can't start with a Charizard or Golem, You have to start off with their first form, Charmander and Geodude and evolve them. You need energy cards to make Pokemon's moves work, so you can't do a 100HP move in your first term, you have to wait until you have the right amount of energy cards to do so.
