"w00t! They did it again!"
Camelot did it again. Mario Tennis, to put it nicely, r0x0rs j00r b0x0rs! Sorry for the 1337. After seeing their success with Mario Golf, the big guys over at Camelot took their ''smash'' hit Mario Tennis 64 and made it a Gameboy game. Sorry for the pun.
Gameplay: 10
Tennis at its best. If you're new to this game, which you are, duh, there are plenty of training options to take a gander at. Learn how to slice the ball, power smash the ball, aim the ball, or just how to volley it over the net. There are teachers who will teach you anything you need to know, so don't fret. You'll learn what to do.
Singles matches and doubles matches. Take your pick. For doubles matches, your room mate will come to your assistance. He's pretty good, and in the long run, you'll see that you'll like doubles matches better than the singles. It's easier,and they tend to go faster. Seems weird, but it's not.
Level gaining is easy. Play a tennis match, win a tennis mini game or two, and raise your stats to your liking! Want to smash the ball with power? Choose power! Want to be quick on your feet? Choose agility! You see the point. Customize your player to fit YOUR needs.

Play tennis. Win match. Gain levels. 'Nuff said.
Graphics: 6
You can see yourself move, and you can see the ball move. Good enough for me. Your head might hurt from the constant eye moving, though. Watch out for those headaches.
Music/Sound: 6
Listen to music. Play tennis. Like music. Easy. Not too tedious. It's got a beat you can enjoy with ease.
Replay Value: 10
Multiplayer is always fun to play. It'll keep you going. Try playing your little brother! It's fun!
Extras: 10
Like Mario Golf, the Transfer Pack is cool for transferring your character to the N64, granted you Do have a N64 after all. 4 player absolutely cannot be beat.
To rent or buy...
Buy, buy, buy. Don't rent rent rent. It's an awesome tennis game that deserves the title of best out there.
