Warlocked

A RTS for a hand held? Am I dreaming or am I dead? Neither? Then you're lying. You're lying then. You're not? What's it called? Warlocked huh? Ok I'll try it. Warlocked is my personal favorite game for any hand held system. The sounds, graphics and overall gameplay rock. They took a shot in the dark making a RTS for the GameBoy color and ended up with a classic. Yes, a classic. Enough of me rambling, let us look at the scores.

STORY: 7/10

Yeah the monsters are coming. Save the human race by stomping them into the ground. At least your leader as the humans is a pretty Queen and not some old fart of a king. Then again you could play as the Monsters and.... DESTROY THE HUMANS! It's pretty neat as both armies are about the same, only difference is what wizards they can use.

CONTROL: 10/10

I was amazed to see that it was easy to control. I figured I would fry brain trying to figure it out but they made it incredibly simple. Even the most brain dead should be able to figure it out and be able to control their armies with ease.

GRAPHICS: 10/10

Again I was amazed to see how good the game looks. Knights actually look like human nights and not some walking pile of scrap. Your soldiers begin to breath heavy if they're too hurt and there's about 5-6 different colors on each unit! Everything looks as it should though it would have been nice to see a few more sprites for the wizards instead of just colors switched. Oh well, no real harm done.

SOUND: 10/10

''ATTACK!'' You'll be hearing that alot. The music is best collection of tunes I've ever heard on the GBC. The voices are clear and you can understand them very easily. The metal-on-metal sound is clear when you and the enemies are fighting and even the dragons actually sound like dragons unlike some games I know. ( I'm talking to you Suikoden!!!!)
Try wearing headphones, it makes it even better!

GAMEPLAY: 10/10

This game is a blast to play. With the easy controls and great sound and the different wizards to choose from, it should feel like a like a totally new game everytime you play it. It's beyond a shadow of a doubt the most fun I've had on my GBC.

OVERALL: 10/10

Overall, get this game. It hordes of fun and just an all around sweet game. It's my favorite for the GBC and I can almost bet good money that after you play it it'll be one of your personal favorites too.
