Ghosts 'N Goblins

"Not as good as the SNES version but still it's an awesome game!"

I always loved the SNES Ghost N Goblins. It was fun! I heard the gameboy color version came out so I went to buy it. I played it and it was really cool. Maximo came out for Ps2 and I heard that the game was just like ghost n goblins. I wanted to get that, but the problem is... I don't have a Playstation 2 =( I hope any kind of game like ghost n goblins comes out for Gamecube or Game boy Advance (I have those systems) Because it's an awesome game! Well Here's my review for it.

The Graphics aren't that good compared to the SNES version but they're pretty good for game boy color. The only thing that kind of bugs me are the zombies are like wearing red shirts. It's no biggy really, it just kind of annoys me =/ Instead of that, everything looks really spooky. The background is awesome. All the monsters look scary. I think they did I pretty good job on the graphics.

They should of added a bit more music to the game. I get sick listening to the same thing over and over again =( The audio is kind of good though. The sound is ok. It's not horrible or not awesome.

What the hell happened here? Only six levels? Peh. They should of added a bit more. Some of the levels are kind of long though. I wish there were a level select or something so I could just go to my favorite level. You do have to enter passwords but I always hate writting passwords down, later on I loose them. Blah blah blah.

I gotta say the game is pretty tough! I had no chance beating the game without the gameshark. I hate it how if you get hit 2 times you die. You should get at least 3 healths are something. The game is very tough.

Where's the double jump? The play control is just fine but why didn't they put the double jump in this one? Why????? I actually have another problem with the play control. When you just jump, like without touching the D-Pad, you'll just jump up and while your in the air, if you press left or right you won't move. This is what I hate about some games. Some one shoots like poison at you and you accidently just jump, you won't be able to move or anything so you'll just land right on the posion.

The game is very fun and you'll want to play it over again. The only thing I kind of like about short games is you'll want to play them over again. If it's like a huge game and takes about a month to beat, who would want to play the whole thing over again? This game is very short. Only 6 levels. After you beat the game you'll play it a few times over again. Even though you don't get anything doing that. That would be nice if you did. Like a secret level or something.

Every ghost n goblins game is awesome. This isn't my favorite one but I still like it. It's pretty good. I love how it only takes one hit with your spear to kill a zombie. Unlike Resident Evil where it takes about 8!!!

Buy or rent?

Buy. It's a pretty good game =D

OVERALL

I give this game a 7 overall. It's a great game but some of the things like the sound just bring the score down. If the sound didn't existed I would give the game a 8. I don't hate the sound it's just the same thing over and over again. *yawn*
