""Wario Land 2: Definitely one of the best games for the Game Boy Color!""

Hello and welcome to my Wario Land 2 review. When I first got Wario Land 2 (about 3 or 4 years ago) I wondered if the game was going to be any good. Once I started playing it I got my answer. WL2 is a very fun, unique and intriguing game that many keep you glued to the Game Boy Color (GBC) screen for several hours (it has done that to me time to time). Well, enough about my history with Wario Land 2, let's move on to the review:

Gameplay
Score: 10 / 10
Comment: The gameplay in WL2 is truly outstanding considering it was made for the GBC. The game itself is very fun and hard to out down after you beat a few of the levels. The bosses you encounter are definitely original and some are hard to beat. I beat this game 100% in about 1 to 2 weeks because I just had to beat it completely. I was obsessed with WL2. It is very addicting; especially with the constant puzzles and complicated levels always popping up around the corner.

Controls
Score: 10 / 10
Comment: The controls in WL2 are not at all complicated, but they are still fun to do. You can butt-stomp through some parts of the ground, break through blocks, charge through enemies, etc. The basic controls, like jumping, can be improved; like charge-jumping (where you charge and then jump). It is very fun to learn the controls for WL2.

Story
Score: 10 / 10
Comment: This is actually a very good story. The best I have seen so far for the GBC. The Black Sugar Gang, leaded by Captain Syrup, have stolen all of Wario's treasures. This is the second time they've messed with him, and he ain't gonna take it, now is he? It's up to Wario to finally defeat the Black Sugar Gang, put them out of their misery and recover all of his stolen treasures. YAY!

Audio/Video
Score: 10 / 10
Comment: The sounds in WL2 are distinct, plentiful and not TOO loud, they are just perfect. The sounds will keep you up to date on what it happening around you, which is much needed in this game. All of the sounds will amaze you with their realisticality and distinctness. The graphics are very well-done, too. You can see cracks in the walls, mice scampering around. Very detailed environments are always surrounding you nonstop. It is very fun going to the next level because you never know what kind of environment you will be in.

Replayability
Score: 10 / 10
Comment: WL2 has LOTS of replayability. You will NOT be able to play this game once and then sit it down and never play it again. You will no doubt be playing this game for hours straight the first few times playing it, then a little while each day afterwards.

Buy or Rent?
BUY!!!
You should definitely buy WL2. You will not regret it and it will be a very fulfilling experience for you!

Final Statement: WL2 makes the first WL look like child's play.
