Mega Man Xtreme 2

"Huh? What happened to my FUN?"

This game, I believe to be TRASH. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Mega Man games, especially X, but this just crossed that fine line between ''new game using new levels but not bosses'' and ''new game using good bosses, 'suckifying' them, and making levels crappy for a small-screen handheld.''
It looks like I'm the only one to not like this game, and so be it.

In short, I didn't like this, at ALL. It didn't give me the great, ''old-days'' feeling that populated Xtreme. This game was good for, what, 20 MINUTES? Zero was a nice addition, and that was that. Nada. No more.

Graphics: 7/10
The graphics weren't totally horrible, but I think that the GBC could do better than this. I mean, it was made color-only! And the graphics are virtually THE SAME. The bosses all seemed like they only used 2 colors. It's color amount is like that in MMV on Super Gameboy. They really could have done better with the sprites, and given them more than their 2 color maximum.

Sound: 4/10
The sound is just like 8-bit versions of the SNES tunes.
Not that it's good.. The SNESXtreme tunes I could listen to. Not this.

Bells & Whistles: 7/10
I liked Zero except for his POOR lack of animation. It was good that currency was put in here, but there are too many dumb special features and not enough game.

Gameplay: 5/10
It was BAD. Especially with Zero, the Saber has such poor range it feels near-impossible to play with him at ALL.
And, on top of it all, Zero's saber animations and SFX look like they were something that came out of a dead monkey's ***hole.

The levels are grueling, with a bunch of ''cheater robots'' around. Look at Blast Hornet's level! I have been forsaken!

X isn't half bad. At least HE has some form of range, and seemingly the SAME POWER OF THE SABER. HOW ABOUT THAT?
He was a great character, in a crappy game. BEEP. Sorry!

Fun: 3/10
I never enjoyed this game. Didn't even crack a smile.
Apparently all the ''fun'' in their budget was used up in the first game. Get Xtreme. Don't get this. There is nothing good in this sucker. NO FUN ALLOWED.
Without fun, why the heck would you get a video game?
To prove your worth to society or something?

Overall: 4/10
It was HORRIBLE. This game gets extra points for Bells & Whistles, but I don't put those in high regard. Don't get this.
