"A Surprise Mario Game"

When I first played this game I was disapointed for not being able to choose Mario as your character to train, but now I am happy I did not chose Mario, because training your character is better.

Graphics - 8

The Graphics of this game are quite good, even though while not playing is not that good, for a Game Bo Color game is quite good, and when you are playing it has it's little, taste of being 3 dimensional, I am not saying that its a 3-D game but it has a little taste of it, the special effects such as thwoing a fast ball are good, you may see it lame but maybe you are used to see great graphics such as the Game Boy Advance or the Nintendo 64, not saying the Game Cube, but anyways the graphics are pretty good, and is one of the good ones for the Game Boy Color.

Gameplay - 10

Well, the gameplay for this game is pretty good since it's sort of an RPG with action involved in it, but its not totally RPG, the only thing that has about RPG is that you choose when to train and do some other stuff like going up in ranks, and playing and winning is great, and the more you lose is better since when you finally win the feeling will be better. There is two adventure you can choose in the same file and can pass both at nearly the same time. You can choose to either better your character or your teammate since you can play on a Single tournament or on a Doubles tournament, so its your choice, and can advance one at the same time as the other. Playing the mini-games that it has are great since they are entertaing, the mini-game you play then with the ''Mario'' characters that you have to unlock, but you can play against those Mario characters with your character or even with one of them, or with one of your rivals while playing the game. The gameplay is just very awesome and you won't get bored until you get it all, and even after that you will want to play against your friends using a Link Cable connection.

Sound - 7

The sound is quite good, but as usual, in any other game, the sound does not makes the game, but it is still very good, the sound effect such as after hitting the ball with the racket, it sounds but not that good, but if you look it from the perspective that it is a Game Boy Color and it is not a Game Boy Advance or any other consoles that has a better processor than this one, the sound effect and good, and the background music is not annoying like in other games I have played. The music is very good and it does not annoys you, it is a great sound of the Game Boy Color.

Controls - 8

Well, the Game Boy Color only has two buttons, the control pad and Start and Select, but anyway I am going to put what are the controls for this game. You will most likely discover this for yourself but here I go, the control pad is for moving the character that you are controling, the A button is for hitting the ball with the racket, the B button is also for hitting the ball with the racket, the Start button is, as usual, for pausing the game, and select is for selecting things, well I as said before you will most likely discover what are the controls for by yourself, but I still think that putting them on a Review is important.

Length - 9

The length of this game is quite long, since after you finally win the game in Singles, you will have to do it again but this time it would have to be in doubles, you may think that it is the same thing, but its actually not and is more fun since sometime your partner is there for nothing and other times it does most of the work. So this game is fairly long.

Replay Value - 7

The replay value for this game is quite good but, I personally didn't liked playing from the start again and doing it all over again, but replaying againast your friends is good since you will always want to know who wins the most, that is if you have a good competitive nature, and even if you don't you will want to play against them for some time.

Conclusion - 7

My conclusion for this game is that you should definitely buy this game since it will bring you hours of entertainment and even if you or none of your friends has a Link Cable you will be entertained for the hours you play trying to end the game, so buy this game, it is very good.
