"Horrible! Get Eternal Duelists Soul!"

This game is based on the hit T.V. show Yu-Gi-Oh!. Some of the rules are Effects, 8000 lifepoints, Tributes, and the annoying rule Duelist Level. With this rule you cannot put in some cards into your deck. Well this is the first Yu-Gi-Oh! game for the Game Boy Color. I can't really blame Konami because it was their first actual Yu-Gi-Oh! game, but they really could have done better. Well at least now the Game Boy Advance game Yu-Gi-Oh! Eternal Duelists Soul is out. That game is a lot better than this game.

Gameplay: The gameplay is horrible. You have to duel about five people many many times, then you get to another stage with five more duelists. This can take forever, and since the game moves very very slow, it takes about 10 minutes to beat one person once!! Then you have to win against ALL OF THEM many many times! That will take you a very, VERY long time. Also, when you equip a creature with some magic card, it goes through a mini movie which takes extremely long.

Graphics: Horrible. The pictures don't look good at all. It is hard to tell what creature you have on the field, the people looks bad, and red is used to outline the characters!!! It is just horrible.

Sound: Well I didn't think about this because I was reading when it wasn't my turn. Since each turn takes quite a while, you will be doing something else and not thinking about the game. But if you actually concentrate on the game, the music is not that bad.

How long this game lasts: This game will last forever because each player takes a long time to make their move, and equipping creatures takes a long long time. I would just sell it when I get sick of it, which won't take that long. I got this game and got rid of it on the same day. I only played for like 10 minutes!

Rent or Buy?: Don't spend even five dollars renting this game!!! Don't buy this game because you will want to return it the next day!!! Just borrow one from your friend if you really want to play!! Since Eternal Duelists Soul is out, buy that game and forget about this one!! You will be happy if you do. That game is a million times better than this game is.
