The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
Review by Corraiv
"A REALLY GOOD Game. Trust Me. I mean it."
Whoa. I mean WhOa. I was one of the last people to get this game, espescially since I just got this year.
This game is great. If you are an espescially loyal fan of Zelda games, you would probably
rate this game a 15 out of 10!!!
The Story: Great. You beat Ganon. Again. But how many times is he going to try? So Link, you, set
off on a quest to find wisdom that would make you better able to withstand another threat from Ganon or someone
else. You set sail on a boat, the trip took many months, searching for anything useful. But unfortunetly for you,
lightning struck your dang ship and you became shipwrecked. You washed up ashore, seemingly knocked out cold from
the lightning. You find a young woman, ;) who had an uncanny resemblance to Princess Zelda, trying to revive you.
Her name was Marin. You drifted ashore to the island Of Koholint. Guess what was on the island? A gigantic egg
on top of this mountain to the North. It was rumored that the Wind Fish lay inside, sleeping like a baby.
When you were revived, you set off for your gear that may still be in the ship wreckage. Then a strange owl flied in
front of you, and said (hooted): "Awaken the Wind Fish and all will be answered."
"What is the Wind Fish?"you wonder... And what did its awakening portend? Your most mysterious adventure yet, following
the riddle of the Wind Fish through the uncharted island of Koholint, is about to unfold.
Diffficulty-Medium: The difficulty, you ask? This game is not very hard at all. Sure there are some
points in the game where you may need a FAQ to help you out, so I guess this game's difficulty is medium. And you
Legend of Zelda Experts out there who have played the past Zelda Games shouldn't have too much trouble...
Control-9/10: The control is very easy. You can move up, down, left and right, and at diagonal.
The control is very easy to get used to. But the need for many items to get around the island is a down side.
Espescially in the dungeons, where you may need a certain item to get to the dungeon boss.
Audio-10/10: The sound and music is GREAT! This game has the original Overworld Theme,
which is the best Legend of Zelda tune made! (At least in my opinion) The sound is O.K., with every item making
a nice sound.
But of course, the music in this game is quite a variety! Everywhere, there is some type of
catchy tune that is quite possible to dance to!
Graphics - Color Game Boy: 10/10 Super Game Boy: 10/10 Original: 8/10: Graphics. Great. Good. I'm not a man of few words. I like the graphics.
Interesting. Ok, ok. There reaaaallly great!!!!! Very complex designs, and the people who created the bosses are
really good imaginers. Everywhere you'll see a large selection of graphics! You can barely notice each color square,
since the colors are well blended. The graphics aren't too shabby on the original Game Boy, too.
Replayability-10/10: This game is very replayable. Most people forget to get some secret sea shells, photos, and heart pieces which drives
them to play the game once more. Some people want to try playing it again without any help from FAQ's. Some people replay
Link's Awakening for FUN!!! (Crazy souls...)
Should You Buy it??? Answer: YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! Of course! This game is much different from any other
Zelda game, with the new plot and all, making it a good game to buy!! So what are you waiting for???? Go buy it! It'll be worth it!
