The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

Q: What do you get when you combine one of Nintendo's greatest video game system with one of the best game series of all time?
A: This game.
Graphics / Video : 10/10
This game totally stretches the limits graphicly of the Game Boy/Game Boy Color video game system. Well that's just my opinion.
Sound / Audio : 10/10
The music is great and of course there's the standard Game Boy bleeps and blats ( the music from Animal Village will drive you crazy!! ).
Play Control : 9/10
Like most Game Boy games the control is pretty simple and easy to learn. Though it is kind of annoying swaping between items constantly, but nothing serious.
Story : 9/10
This is definately the odd ball in the Zelda series. By that meaning not taking place in Hyrule and your objective NOT saving Princess Zelda. That can be a good thing ( if your a hard core Zelda player and are looking for something new ) or a bad thing ( if you just love the Hyrule basics ; e.g. The Zora ).
The Ending : 5/10
I didn't include this in the story part because I didn't want to ruin a good story rating because of a bad ending.
Without spoiling too much of the story, here are two words that best describe the ending : VERY VERY LAME ( well maybe that's three ) .
Replay Value : 10/10
To make a long story short : You'll be playing this game for a long, long time.
Overall : 9/10
Due to a couple small problems this title didn't earn a 10.
Instead it earned the second best thing -- a 9!
