"The Powerpuff Girls WAS On TV, NOW It's On Your Game Boy Color!"

Ever since Powerpuff Girls aired on Cartoon Network, it's been a hit everywhere. A reason why they are so popular is because it shows that not all guys can be super heroes. Now, girls can kick butt too! From T-shirts to watches, the Powerpuff Girls now appear on your Game Boy Color! I think this game was made to earn MORE money. And besides, they made a game for EACH member of the trio of the Powerpuff Girls on the Game Boy Color, which makes my guess (of why they made this game) even MORE of a possibility.

I don't own this game, but my sister does. The ONLY reason why I picked it up and played it is because of boredom, believe it or not, and all my other games were either boring, too played out or were from the days of when Pokemon was in. On to the Review!

Gameplay : 8/10
Controls are REALLY easy. The controls can be a bit sluggish at times BUT is okay after awhile. With a total of 5 levels (Not including the secret levels.) In the levels (and in the entire game), you need to find a certain number of items and defeat all the bad guys to 100% complete the level. Every time you pick of of these ''certain items'' or defeat an enemy, there will be a little box that shows you ''# out of ###'', so you will know how much of the level you missed. When you select the level, it shows you how much of the level you completed.
The game also has trading cards which are ONLY used for trading! AND to get all of them, you need to link up with the other Powerpuff Girls games to get them all. Some of the cards can be found while playing the game. You know when you've picked up a trading card when Blossom says, ''Hey! A trading card... I can't wait to show it to the Professor!''

Story : 8/10
In this game, the story is (Exactly from the back of the box) : Mojo Jojo has broken into Professor Utonium's lab, and built some super weapons with which he will destroy Townsville. Help Blossom lead her sisters and use her perfect combination of Brains, Beauty, and Braun to track down and defeat the evil genius, Mojo Jojo, and thus save the citizens of Townsville! BUT, what the back of the box doesn't tell you is that there are also several OTHER bad guy characters that are there.

Value : 3/10
Guys don't play with girls stuff. So why should you? (If you're a guy that is.) Unless you are a girl... If you are a girl, then this game is a must buy for you..... But since I'm a dude, I gave it a low value. BUT yous guys, if you are bored, then you should go check it out....... It's pretty good for a girls game!

Audio/Video : 6/10
Pretty good.... Except for the fact that the Theme Song from the show is here... It gets REALLY repetitive and really annoying... Music has a nice beat to it.... But the sound FX are crap! They are SO overused.

Replayability : 5/10
Unless you are a perfectionist, there isn't much to do after you complete the game. EXCEPT for the secret levels....... You can get these by entering a special code in the game. There are also other features, like playing as different characters and invincibility, BUT you also need to find the codes for it on the other Powerpuff Girls games.

To buy or to rent? : 5/10
Like I said before, Guys don't play with girls stuff. Which is why you guys shouldn't even be LOOKING at this game. You girls..... Well, it's a must buy of you! Anyways, this game is a good rent. (If you're a guy) In a way, it sorta is a RPG game.... BUT, don't get caught with this game by your buddies or else it'll haunt you for the rest of your life!

Final Rating : 6/10
This game would be pretty good if it weren't for the Powerpuff Girls game....
Note that the word girls is in bold. So that means the game was made for girls! Not boys.....
Nonetheless, anyone that is bored, should go check it out.
