"Another MegaMan X game! But, they messed up..."

You all know why you came here, to (A) find out if you should buy this game, (B) just get a review on it! Well, I've got one here! Let's just start by saying this; if you’re playing a regular GameBoy, you have problems. You can barely see gunfire, or MegaMan X. However, if you’re playing this game on a GameBoy Color, or a GameBoy Advance, this game runs a lot smoother. The coloring is very good, but with no color, you're in for a headache. Another reason, though, while I don't rate this game too high, is because they redo old boss levels from MegaMan X and X2. This is ok, for people that don't have MegaMan X or X2, but I own both of these! The only difference between these games is they changed the plot of Xtreme, and I can't believe they call it a plot! Moreover, the graphics are nothing compared to X and X2! Still, if don't already own X1 and X2 for snes, this is a very fun game. There are about 12 different bosses; the only problem is, in the first mode, you get to fight 8! Once you beat this mode, the 2nd mode unlocks. Now you get to fight the other 4 or so. In addition, once you beat this, another mode unlocks. Now you have to beat all of them, and it's a little harder. In more addition, if you beat this, boss attack unlocks. This is a time attack mode, for trying to beat all of the bosses. Still, this is a short game. And the plot! They call that a plot! I mean,''Oh no! Some robot is hacking into our database and stealing info,” and that's the end of the plot! Some plot. Wow. Not! Anyway, I think it time to rate this game.

Regular GameBoy Gameplay: 2/10

If you were using a reg. GameBoy, I wouldn’t even think about trying to buy this game! You cannot see a thing!

GameBoy Color or GameBoy Advance Gameplay:8/10

Using a GameBoy Color or Advance. This game is fun. You can see everything!

Music:8/10

Good music. Not just little beeps and boops. Nevertheless, something your ears won't bust with!

Plot: 2/10

Some plot. As before, the plot only counts in the very beginning of this game, but that’s it. Some plot.

Sounds: 7/10

It gets annoying after listening to your gunfire and jumping and stuff, but not that bad. Still, if you play this game a lot, it WILL get to your head.

Total: 7/10

This game makes to be an average game with a GameBoy Color or Advance. With reg. GameBoy, it's a nightmare!
