"Hello! I'm Harry Potter, the SCORCHERER of enemies!"

Blast from the past, yo: Harry Potter and the Phillospher's stone. That name sound familliar? It should, because it's a best seller all around the world (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone if you're not british). I was thinking this game was gonna suck when I heard that they're making a game based on a movie and a book. Considering most of them usually SUCK ARSE, I decided to rent this game at the local gaming shop to laugh and post constructive criticism of it on da internet. I was wrong, so let's take a look, ya?

Graphics: 8/10
The graphics do lack a few things. Some of the character and enemy sprites look totally mutated (Amazing how Voldemort looks so much like my sister.), yet the backgrounds are some of the best I've ever seen on my gameboy. I also like how the spells look, especially ''Verdimillious Tria''

Sound: 9/10
Unlike most games, where staves make a ''Doink'' noise when they attack air, or where Guns make Can-of-coke-opening sounds, or where hammers make slashing noises, this game's noises are actually realistic. Incendio, Flipendo, and Incendio make ''Firey wind'' Noises, and the explosions are realistic too. Lol to when the enemies squeak when you beat them.

Difficulty: 3/10
WHAT? ONLY HARRY? HOW CAN IT ONLY BE HARRY WHEN RON, HERMIONE, AND NEVILLE ARE FOLLOWING HIM? Why do they just stand there going ''Duuuuuuuuuuh'' while Harry is going ''HELP! I'M GETTING KILLED! I NEED ANOTHER SCORCHERER HERE TO HELP ME SCORCH THIS MOUSE!!'' Also, you can see the magical encounters floating around and can choose whether or not to approach them.

Replay Value: 4/10
This has to be a joke, because it only took me around, like say, 2 hours and 30 minutes to beat it. (I'm serious! I'm not just using it as an excuse to say 2.5 here, that was my actual time) And that included leveling up too. Seriously, this game is shorter than the trading card game. (Which takes around 10 minutes to do, where as Yu-Gi-Oh is a long and heated battle to the death)

Overall: 8/10
This game suffers alot in replay value and difficulty, but it's the only Harry Potter game worth buying.

Buy or Rent?
You wanna rent it. You can probably beat it in about a few hours. It's not something you wanna spend your weekend on

Best part:
Kicking Malfroy's Arse on the train

Worst part:
No quiddich, It was released on a dying system, because the GBA version was so crappy
