Looney Tunes: Carrot Crazy
Review by samthebigkid
"Pretty Good for a Looney Tunes games"
Usually, Looney Tunes games are pretty pointless. Most of the time they get boring real quick. Aren't most of them very similar? But this one isn't really that bad. It has a little more entertaining aspect that could entertain younger children for longer. As for older people, this game isn't anything real great. But if you are bored, it could save you to a degree.
Graphics- Pretty good. This game has nice graphics for Game Boy Color. Everything looks like it should. And the carrots have a nice 3D effect to them. It looks cool when you change characters as well. Everything has a good flow to it. The titles, characters, and other graphics look good and make the game have a sleek look to it.
Sound- Decent. I've heard better on the Game Boy. The music is pretty decent. Nothing real mind blowing or anything. The hammer swings and such sound a little weird. Not what you'd expect. The sound does flow nicely at times. Some things don't make sounds. But that's ok, you may like it. It's not the world's highest budget sound project but it works.
Gameplay- Pretty Decent. The controls are simple enough. So the story is Bugs and Lola's carrots were stolen and you have to get them back. So you go through this weird movie land place. So the game is at a side-view. You are Bugs or Lola (you can switch at any time). You must collect the four pieces of this thing to make it to the next level. Also you can collect the EXTRA letters for a bonus. Both characters have special traits. Bugs can push things while Lola can use her umbrella to float. So you go through the levels and bash people with your hammer or umbrella, collect the carrots, letters, and pieces of the thing. The game itself isn't very exciting. It's okay, but not that great. It doesn't have enough though to keep you into the game at all times and you can start to daze a little. Also the concept is a little strange. But overall I say it's a decent game.
In conclusion, this is an Okay game. It's pretty cheap so if you like Looney Tunes, pick it up for like $5. It could be a little better though. it's a must-have for any Bugs Bunny fan. With some work to do, I give Looney Tunes for Game Boy Color a 7/10.
