That is 100% true, this game is so addictive. I wanted it. But I'll be honest: who buys golf games? I never do. But have you read ign.com's review of the game? They have never steered me wrong, with the exception of Soul Calibur. That was the only time. So I had cause to be excited. But then as I am grabbing it off the shelf I was thinking: ''This is golf. GOLF. I have wanted to try it for real, but well, a golf video game?'' But it was too late to back out. So okay, my Nintendo Power magazine, that is just as reliable as ign, loved it. Then I played it. Wow, this game is so fun!! FUN!! I am buying the N64 just because this is so good!!



Graphics 10/10
Still shots don't do this game justice. When you fire up the game, you recieve an incredible intro, with coloring that is simply stunning. Then you hit start and meet an incredible backround. When you make it to the Marion Clubhouse, there is a beautiful wood coloring that was simply amazing. You then hit the golf course, and the overhead is amazing!!! The graphics in this game are incredible, to say the least!!!




Sound 10/10
I love this game's music!!!! The nusic is very varied, with your basic, soft beat to Link's Club's techno beat. The sound effects of the clubs connecting is very pleasing to the ear, and you won't get tired of the music. Also there are little pippy sounds when the characters talk(ala Banjo-Kazooie), and it goes quite well with the theme.


Control 8/10
Okay, here's how it goes, cause the manual tells you crap. See the row of lines at the bottom of the screen? Line them up. That is how you do it. :) It is quite easy, actually. Just takes a little getting used to. If you don't get it, challenge Putts and watch him swing. Menu controls are easy, and other than the manuals lack of control explanation everything is perfect.


Gameplay 10/10
Excellent. You have tournaments, club champions, but the real fun is turning a nobody into a golfing legend! You raise your character like in an RPG!! That is the best way to explain it a golfing RPG. You have to gauge wind, and use your head, meaning that strategy gamers will love this. There is something for everyone here.


Replay Value 10/10
How can you go wrong? There are many ways to play, earning experience points, facing club champs, and tournaments. You will play to build up your character, and then will face the masters of golf!!! I really don't know what else to say, except that replay value is nearly unlimited, cause you will want to continually build up your character.

What did you expect? Buy it on sight. Play this game and you will lose track of time, for sure!!!
