"A pretty awsome game"

Well hi there This review is for dragon warrior 1+2. Any ways to get right down to it this is a good game. Originally on NES Witch is when I first played these games, remaking them on game boy color was a great idea. now to get into the game:

Story: 6/10
An average story of a hero a bad guy and a few little other things. Its a better story then some of the modern games (sadly). If you like the whole good guy beats bad guy thing this is great.

Graphics: 9/10
Now level with me, The graphics aren't ps2 or all life like or whatever. But that is no reason To say these graphics are bad. They look a whole lot shaper then they did on NES (witch were ok already) and pretty good looking for a game boy game. It all works out for me.

Controlling: 10/10
I mean the controls are great. Press up they go up, press down they go down. I don't know how these could be bad but I say they are great. They came along ways from the NES. On there you had to press a and then select some thing like stairs. Now you can just walk on the stairs. I guess if your hands are big you wouldn't like this game.

Battles/leveling up: 4/10
This part is what brings it down to a 9. I mean you couldn't even see your self in the game. when you attacked it looked like a a little line went across the bad guy. And the weapons did vary but I'm using sword as my example. Any ways leveling up on number 2 was kind of boring. You had to fight in the same area till you were strong enough then killed whatever was there and then your weak in the next area.

Sounds/music: 8/10
The sound and or music is pretty good for this game. I mean not the best there was music for battles and for walking around on the world map. Each attack or magic had its own sound. The really bad part is the people you play as or fight against. They all used the same sound for attacking or something similar enough.

My score for this game (not average): 9/10
A great game boy game for people who have played this on NES. I still play this and it never gets old. As for renting or buying this game I say you should buy it. Then again who ever listens to me?
