Vigilante 8

Okay. So we all loved the PS version of this game, but Game Boy? No. I'm sure that they could have made a great translation of this game to the GBC, but they didn't. This game, to put it quite bluntly, sucks. The control is pitiful, for one thing, and no character even can come close to actually beeing deemed ''maneuverable''. There are 12 characters (whew!) and 5 modes of play. However, all of the modes feel like they are all exactly the same. There are a couple of minute differences, but they are so duplicative that you probably won't even notice. There is a 2 player mode, which is no better. You just get to share one of the worst driving games of all time with a friend.^_^
The graphics are okay, but you can kinda get stuck in the scenery, and if this happens and you can't wiggle your car loose, you'll have to wait for an enemy to blast you out, and then you lose health. The rumble feature is probably the only cool thing about it, but you get so used to it after a while that it doesn't really affect you anymore and you cease to notice it. The opening music is pitiful, and there is no in-game music, just crash and explosion sounds. Wow. Fun. In short, save your $30 for something else, or suffer a horrible fate...^_^
