The Simpsons: Night of the Living Treehouse of Horror
Review by Skye7707
"Another great Simpson adventure!"
~ Introduction ~
Whoohoo another cool Simpson game, I like them so much. This time it's a treehouse horror special. So ets see if this game is worth playing/buying.
~ Game Play ~ 8/10
You start in the tree house, to restore your progress, go to the trashcan and enter your code. Now, you'll start playing the Simpsons's home, jump with the B button and let Bart shoot with his sling shot by pressing the A button. It seems like the tools in the house have been totally freaked out and trying to kill Bart! But you have to kill them first with your slingshot! Press the up button if you want to enter a room. If you hold the B button little Simpson will jump a lot farther than else, this is pretty handy when you want to reach high and far places. For example, in the first level you'll need to get fuses, some are hard to each but if you hold B you can get them easily. Do not fall into the slime from the nuclear power plant, else you'll die.
~ Story ~ 7/10
Bad Dream House
The Simpsons's dog is trapped in the attic of a Pet hungry haunted house. Bart needs to rescue Santa's Little Helper before he becomes Satan's Little Helper!
There are more stories but I won't spoil the fun of the game by telling them all here.
~ Graphics & Music ~ 7/10
The houses and other rooms are very well detailed, Bart looks cool too! THe music is poor, very bad quality. But lets do not forget it's only the Gameboy Color, but still it should have been a lot better!
~ Play Time & Replay Value ~ 8/10
Its play time is fair, you'll have some levels in Bart's tree house horror stories. The only thing new is trying to beat it again and get a higher score.
~ Overall ~ 8/10
The Simpsons have some pretty good games but they shouldn't let THQ make them! Although this game is pretty good and has a high fun factor I suggest you only rent it and don't buy it.
