"One of the worst gbc games of all time"

Yes, want to know how I got this game? My mom and I was at a game store in a chinese mall. So I decided to get a new gbc game. Then I found this old cartridge laying around. I thought it would be an excellent game compared to the other ramage world tour games on other systems. I heard the rampage world tour games contained very little hype, but to others it's great. Here's how I think about the game now. Now let's get started on my rant, shall we? ^_^

Story 1/10

Not much of a plot in this game. Except, it is about some experiment with three humans, that transformed into three beasts. One turned into a rat, one turned into a dino lizard, and another turned into king kong. Now they are on a rampage, and it's up to you to assist them in wrecking the world.
anyway, the story doesn't appeal to me.

Gameplay 2/10

Well, the gameplay is simplistic and repetive. The gameplay is alot like Wrecking Crew for the first Nintendo (aka NES) system. You are suppose to destroy all the buildings in each phase. The gameplay is too simplistic, because all you do is eat people and attack and damage the vechicles and destroy all buildings. Seems innovative, but it's stale. You can't save and all the levels are the same. It's too repetitive. Except, the only good part of this game is the bonus stages, where you ride on a airbourne glider and touch all the things in air. The gameplay lacks freshness.

Graphics 3/10

The graphics are somewhat mediocre, however it's also one of the worst graphics I've seen in a GBC game. The characters/enemy/level designs look like a screwed up 8-bitter game (no pun intended). There isn't much to say for the graphics.

Sound 3/10

There are only a few sound effects in this game, unfortunatley. I like the sound, when you get an item that gives you points, rewarded and the touch of the blimps in the bonus rounds. The sound effects of people screaming when getting eaten by you, almost sounds real. The sounds are bland.

Music 0.5/10

The music is always the same all the time you play. There isn't much music. It shouldn't be classified as music at all.

Challenge 2/10

It's too easy and it's too frustrating. The difficulty is kind of pathetic. There is only normal and hard mode. hmph! Although, there seems to be infinite amount of continues. nothing much here either.

Control 5/10

The controls are mediocre. You jump and punch and smash. But there are very very little combos to your attack, like eating and kicking. The controls are easy to get use to. The controls are laughable. lol.

Replay Value 0/10

There are tons of levels, but it's always the same. Way to taint the franchise, Midway! There is no unlockables or anything, period.

Final Word buy/rent/avoid

AVOID!!!!! This game doesn't deserve to be the honorable Midway franchise. If you ever see it, run away like the wind. If you like
RWT, go play it on the arcade or other great systems or emulate them.
