"This game rocks!"

Let's cut the crap and get down to business.

Gameplay(10): The gameplay is pretty standard. This game has hours of playing time due to the length of every card battle. Different cards that you can acquire via booster packs, that contain an additional eleven cards that strengthen your deck and makes you more powerful, make the game more intereseting and fun. The control is very easy to understand, even if you have never ever touched a GameBoy before. The game is challenging, but very entertaining. I had a great time with it!

Story(9): You are a kid who wishes to gather the Legendardy Pokemon Cards. The legendary Pokemon Cards are the mysterious and extremely rare cards held by the four greatest Pokemon cards players of all time-the Grand Masters. If you defeat the Grand Masters(there are four of them in all), then you recieve the Legendary Cards! You then set your goal of obtaining the cards from the Grand Masters and inheriting the Legendary Cards. You then go to the Pokemon Trading card game researcher, Dr. Mason, to help you complete your quest. Dr. Mason then has you compete in your fist battle against his assistant Sam. Once you win this duel, Dr. Mason will give you your fist Pokemon deck to use in duels. Just like the other Pokemon games, you get your choice of 3 different decks. After you have chosen your deck, you start your journey!

Audio/Video(6): The sound of the game is kind of monotonous and might get on your nerves. It is better than the bicycle music from Pokemon Red or Blue. The graphics are okay considering you in real life you just stare at your cards whereas in this game, the attacks are acted out. The cards were translated very precisely from the real-life cards.

Replayability(8): The game is definitely worth playing again. Condsidering you have the choice of three different decks and booster packs that are you can never get the same of. The Card Pop! feature which allows you and a friend to link your gameboys and eachget a brand new card is a definite bonus. This game can be replayed indefinitely.

Buy or Rent: I skipped the usual neccesary renting part and bought the game straight up. I was happily suprised. I would definitely buy this game.
