"This game is a bit looney"

Well this is a review for the game, loony tunes; Martian alert. This is my first review so I don't know whether it will be good or not.

Graphics 8/10

The graphics for this game are pretty good for a Game boy colour game. They are good because of many reasons. One of these reasons is that the characters faces are fully see able, because in some games you can not see the faces of the characters. Another reason is that the background of the environment is really detailed and is full of tropical plants and crumbling rocks.
The thing that stops it getting 10/10 is that there are better graphics for Game boy colour games.

Sound 7/10

The sound for the game is pretty good, but the music is really cheesy and always repeats itself. For example there is a fixed song for when you are inside a building and there is a fixed song for when you are outside in the forests. The repetitive music stops it getting a higher score.

Controls 5/10

The controls for this game are a major let down. They are really hard to get the hang of. It is hard because the buttons are a tiny bit random and confusing. For example the A button is to jump, fairly easy, but then you have to press start and select at the same time to bring up a certain menu. The way the controls are confusing give it the lowest score in the review.

Game play/ Story 9/10

The story for this game is fairly easy to understand and is a pretty good story and it starts almost straight away. You are Bugs and you are trying to go on a trip to Florida. You go out of a rabbit hole and you find out you are in the wrong place. You then find out that Marvin the Martian is trying to destroy the world with a machine. The machine brakes and you must recover the pieces before he does. As I was saying you can see the story is fairly simple and really easy to understand, this is a definite high point of the game.

Rent or buy?

I bought this game as soon as I saw it, but you might want to rent it because it might not be your kind of story. When you get the game, you won't be disappointed.
