[1] Intro
==============================================================================

This FAQ contains level layouts and strategy for the Arena levels for the game
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (mobile version). I would suggest completing
the normal levels first so that you have all of the combo moves. You will need
them to complete some level and to get higher scores.

The Arena is 15 levels. Each level has spikes at the beginning and end. There
is a potion at level 7 so don't worry is you get hit a few times before that.

The levels are always the same. So once you have a level strategy that works,
you can use it every time you come to that level.

You'll always start with one minute, and you'll earn 40 extra seconds for each
level completed. Don't worry; This is more than enough time...

==============================================================================
[2] Controls
==============================================================================

Here are the combos and how they are useful in the arena.

v5 Blade Dervish

This is useful if there are multiple enemies near you. The help screen says it
can knock down two enemies, but it can actually knock down more. It's not the
damage that makes this a good move, but the knock downs. You can stab kill the
enemy, or just deal with a different one while he's on the ground.

555 Heart Render

This is a fun finishing move. When you get an enemy that doesn't block much,
just mash 5 and you'll get this in.

^5 Payback

This move is good for a knock down. The damage isn't great, but you can stab
and kill the enemy while they're down. And it's easy to do this. Just hold up
and tap (or mash) 5 after you block a hit.

>5> Crescent Moon

This move is usually hard to connect. You might kill the enemy before you get
it to work. If you an pull it off, it will dizzy the enemy and allow you to
kick them for a know down, or banish them for another style point. It's a lot
easier to use Sand Storm. Quicker, too!

>5 Sand Storm

Much more useful than Crescent Moon. Most enemies will attack you as soon as
they get to you. Just thrown this in while their arm is up and you'll dizzy
them. You can then kick or banish them.

 5 Banish

This is great! It's an instant kill. It can only be used after Crescent Moon
or Sand Storm. But it counts as a style point, so you can get two style points
out of one enemy.

Tips:

The best combo, by far, is Sand Storm to Banish. It's quick, easy to pull off,
kills the enemy, and it counts as two style points.

Wall Dance is useless! You will usually bounce off the enemy. Birds will hurt
you in the air. This only works on an enemy if their back is turned to you.
They usually turn around before you get to them. And if you hit them, you may
overshoot into the spikes.

Time Stop is not available in the arena.

Kicking
This will happen if you run into an enemy with their back to you. It is useful
because it knocks them down for an easy stab kill. They may also knock another
enemy into spikes as they fall. You don't need to press the attack button to
do this move.

Back Elbow
If someone is behind you, you can hold back and press the attack button to hit
them. This lets you stab kill them, or deal with whoever's in front of you.

Stab Kills
Any time an enemy is on the ground near you, you can press the attack button
to kill them. This is most useful after kicks, elbows, or a Blade Dervish.

This level is pretty straight forward. The swordsmen and easily defeated.
For maximum style points, use Sand Storm and Banish on each one.

Level 2

Another straight forward level. Handle the three swordsmen, and hit the axe
back to the thrower. Kill or Heart Render the final swordsman to end the level

Take out the two swordsmen and move forward slowly. When the birds appear, hit
them one at a time. If you're too fast, you might to the lunging stab and get
hit by a bird. Next, take out the last two swordsmen and you're done.

If you wait for the first two swordsmen to come to you, the second one will
teleport behind you and fall into the spikes. Handle the remaining one and
run to the next swordsman. If you're quick, you can kick him and stab kill him
before the ambush. If you're slower, you can Blade Dervish both guys at once.
Two more swordsmen and this level is over.

After two swordsmen, move forward until two birds appear. Handle them the same
way did in Level 3. Or you can move forward a little to let the axe thrower
kill the second bird. The axe thrower and a swordsman are al that remain now.

Level 6

After the first enemy, proceed with caution. If you're slow enough, the ambush
ahead will only have two guys. If you're too fast, the swordsman on the right
will come in, too. Blade dervish them all and stab kill them. If you're too
fast, you'll have to deal with four guys at once! There is only one swordsman
left now. You know what to do...

Finally. A POTION!! Just take care of the birds and the swordsman. Once you've
got the potion, advance a little for the next set of birds. And finally, take
out the axe thrower. You can let the axe thrower hit the back bird if you rush
into them, but you may get hit by a front bird, so I wouldn't suggest that.

After the first two guys, there are two ways to proceed. Walk until someone
appears behind you and Blade Dervish both swordsmen. Or run forward and try to
kick the swordsman before the ambush. The stab kill the grounded swordsman and
elbow the one that appeared behind you. One last guy and you're done.

Start this by waiting for the axe guy to throw. Knock it back to him and move
forward a little. As soon as the axe thrower appears behind you, duck and he
will take out the advancing swordsman. Now Elbow or Heart Render the thrower
the thrower before he gets a chance to throw his next axe. Proceed forward.

After you kill the next guy, run into the invisible swordsman to kick him. He
will fall into the last invisible swordsman and knock him into the spikes. A
stab to the guy on the ground will finish off this level.

After you take out the first guy, the next will appear in front or behind you.
If you run he'll appear in front of you and you will kick him to the ground.
If you walk, he may appear behind you and you can use Blade Dervish to handle
him and the next guy. Just two invisible swordsmen after that and you're done.

Wow, this is a tough level! It may take a few tries to get it. The first enemy
will usually teleport into the spikes behind you if you wait at the start.
Then you can attack the invisible guy alone. Now there are three ways to go.

When you advance, a bird will appear behind you. A bird will appear in front.
And a swordsman will attack from the front as well. You can elbow the bird and
slash enemies in front. OR...

You can rush in and use blade dervish on the birds and swordsman. You may duck
instead of pulling it of. In which case, you're dead! OR...

You can lure the next two swordsmen out one at a time to avoid the bird ambush
Then run in and deal with the birds without the swordsman messing things up.

Level 12

Take care of the first two swordsmen, and advance slowly. Be ready! As soon as
the axe throwers appear, duck! They'll take each other out. After that, just
handle the next two and move on to the next level.
