This Save State Offset List is a complete listing of the offset values for
all cards for the NeoGeo Pocket Color game, "Card Fighter's Clash: SNK vs.
Capcom" (both SNK and Capcom versions). The offset list is specifically
tailored for a savestate from NeoPop v0.71 and not for any other file.

The use of a hex-editing program, such as the oft-mentioned shareware program
"Hex Workshop" (tm) by BreakPoint Software, is needed to edit/hack the file.
I cannot provide any technical help for the programs, just the list. Please
refer to the makers of the software you are using (BreakPoint Software can
be contacted at www.bpsoft.com) for furthur assistance on that area.

v0.01 - Tentative release: I could have sworn I posted this before.
        Happy New Year (2006/01) nonetheless.
This is a bare-bones list of the cards & their decimal offsets.

-= Tutorial -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Basic understanding of HEXadecimal:
The basic "decimal" numeric system is based on 10's: 1, 2, 3... 10, 11, 12...
        The number 123 = (1 * 10^2) + (2 * 10^1) + (3 * 10^0)
                        = 100 + 20 + 3

The binary numeric system is based on 2's: 1, 10, 11... 100, 101, 110...
Because you count by 2's, the digits have to be 0 or 1.
        The binary 101 = (1 * 2^2) + (0 * 2^1) + (1 * 2^0)
                        = 4 + 0 + 1
                        = 5 (in decimal form)

The hexadecimal system is based on 16's: 1, 2, 3... 8, 9, A... E, F, 10...
There can be 16 values for a single digit, from 0 to F.
        A = 10, B = 11, C = 12... all the way to F = 15
        The hex 1F8 = (1 * 16^2) + (F * 16^1) + (8 * 16^0)
                     = 256 + 240 + 8
                     = 504 (in decimal form)

Microsoft Windows' Calculator (Scientific Mode) can convert between these
three forms with a touch of a radio dial. I just wanted everyone to learn
it the hard way. X^P

The term 'register' means the 'storage location of the data'.

-= Editing =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Upon launching your hex-editing program, search for the offset value
(in "decimal") to jump to the register you want to edit.
If you just started the game, many values should be "00", some "82" or "83".
To find the Hex Offset, simply convert the Decimal Offset value into Hex.
Change the value at the offset location to "00" to delete all cards;
"80" to show that you've discovered the card, and any hex value above "80"
to obtain them. A value of "81" means you have one card, a value of "FF"
(the most you can put into a hex-register) gives you 127 of them.
