Sonic the Hedgehog: Pocket Adventure

Sonic has always been the icon of Sega. The great graphics and the great gameplay has made it the best in its class right next to Mario. Now you will see if his lastest game is worth your money

The story of the game is very simple. Dr.Robotinic stole all of the chaos emeralds and it is your job to get it back. Most of the characters make an apperance, Tails, Knuckles, etc.. but the characters from new characters from the Dreamcast Sonic Adventure do not make an apperance they just have pic's of them.

As far as replayibility goes it is denfinetly the top of the line for NeoGeo Pocket. I found my self bringing the game everywhere with me even the mall because it was so enjoyible. What made it so enjoyible? Well it isn't just a start finish game like the other Sonics for Genesis they have Puzzle pieces to find thru out the game. The point to the puzzle pieces is to collect them and once you collect all of them for a particular puzzle you get a picture of a character from Sonic. Even if you finish finding all the puzzle pieces the Time trial mode and advanced mode will keep you playing trying to get those platiumum medals.

Funfactor fares good as well. Difficulty not to hard to get thru the game but those puzzle pieces can be killer I beat the regular game in two hours but I still can't find all of the puzzle pieces.

The Graphics are the best for handhelds. Vivid bright colors make the game almost look like the genesis. The only gripe is the bad slowdown in the levels but that is only a minor problem compared to what the game has to offer. Music is also good. The catchy tunes in rooms are great.

So weither to buy or not. If you are looking for a good platformer this is the one to buy even if you don't like sonic. This game is worthy of your thirdy dollars.
