Review by Mouko

"Be ready to forget your friends, school, and pretty much your whole life once you start up this game..."

You wouldn't think a simple portable game would be able to take over your life, but as you see in Snk vs. Capcom: Cardfighter's clash, one can easily do so if it's as well made as this one.

You start off by picking one of two characters. The obligatory male or female. Enter a name, and off you go. Five different locals (and one secret one) awate you and your deck of cards. Oh, and did I mention that there are 300 different cards you can obtain that feature different characters from the more popular Snk and Capcom games. The object of the game is not only to collect all the cards, but obtain coins from all five locals and move on to the last local to become champion of the cards.

Graphics:10
Wow, that's all I can say. Pokémon ésque character sprites, but with a more deatiled and colorful backgrounds. The card graphics are what it's all about. Beautiful character graphics for all the characters on the cards, be it Snk, or Capcom.

Sound: 9
Great music for battles and locals. But the music can be a bit tedious at times, but it can be easily turned off. At the beginning there is a static voice sample of ''Cardfighters'' and that's about it.

Control:10
Control is perfect with the analog joysick. Very easy to navigate the menus. Nothing really to complain about.

Innovation:8
Yes, some of you might be complaining ''Pokémon did it first!'' Well since this is such a better game, I guess it cancels out that it ''copied'' Pokémon:TCG

Addictiveness:10
Oh definately a 10. Once you pick up this game, you won't be able to put it down, you'll find yourself playing it at school, work, church, and any other place you go. You'll find yourself playing the same people over and over again, trying to get that Terry or Akuma card. Oh and there are two versions of this game. The Snk version, in which Snk are more common, and the Capcom version, in which Capcom characters are more common. So you're probably gonna buy both versions, or scour your town looking for somebody with the other version.

Overall:10
I just can't say enough good things about this game. If you can find a store selling Neo Geo Pocket Color games, pick it up.
