"Tennis at a new level"

Do you enjoy tennis? If no, I understand where your coming from. I don't like tennis at all! The only thing that caught my on this game, was an employee of a local game store was playing it. She asked if I wanted to try it, and try it I did. I was amazed at how fun this game is! The object of the game is the usual become champion gibberish that makes you try to beat it for days on end. I mean I'm the kind of guy who hates sports, but I really like this game.

You start out at a title screen with the option to pick exhibition, tournament, or record. The exhibition is a one match game with 1-7 sets. The tournament is a series of four matches with 1- 7 sets in which you win a trophy if you beat it. The option is a showroom where you can view the trophies you've won.

The matches are awesome. This game is slightly like Mario Tennis, the game that was one every ones favorite system, Virtual Boy, but with an overhead view. It's easy to control, challenging, and has some jamming sound tracks just to go with it. You also get a few hidden characters to go along with it.

The only gripe I have with this game is the trophy system. You get a trophy depending on what Zodiac month it is (example: if you play the game on Dec. 29th you get the Capricorn cup). You may find yourself changing the date inside your system.

Among the best features of this game is the replay value. I play this game over and over and over again. This simple game somehow makes you come back for more. This game may even inspire you to go to the courts in your non-gaming life.

The bottom line is to purchase this game. It will be fun if you love or hate sports. I love this game! 9/10.
