SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium

"Marvel, eat your heart out! SNK was meant for this!"

Once I opened the package and put in the batteries for my NeoGeo pocket, I felt something. Then I looked at the first game I bouight with it... SNK vs. Capcom. Once I started playing, the NeoGeo Color Pocket became an attachment to my hands. This game is just too awsome to be reconed with, and it's on a hand held game!

Alright, how is it so good? In many ways it is.

First there is the graphics of the game. It's soo cool! The little details I see whenever someone does his move, its like there are no stiff parts in the game. Even Iori's hair moves the way it should during his flaming uppercut attack. It makes me feel so proud to see the little things like that in life. the graphics, I'll say, are great for what it is.

Then there is the sound. Is it just me, or has anyone else miss the sound WolfGang had in Fatal Fury Two. When I heard that again, I almost jumped for joy. Along with a lot of other's origional songs and that cute one from Mai on Real Bout that I missed. I was satisfied with what I was hearing. I say the sounds are excelent.

The controls. I admit, sometimes I do have trouble pulling off a few of my combos and all. But I did happen to make some new kooky combos, so it made up for it. With the NGCP joystick, it's sometimes hard to do dragon punch motions, but it's all good. It only happens ever so often. It can get kinda annoying when you have the perfect combo but cant finish it.Other than that, everything else is great.

But wait folks, it's not just fighting. There are some very fun mini games to keep you company as well. But these mini games aint them easy ''this wont intertain my 5 year old sister'' games, for they can get hard as well. and they also have a purpose, for the more points you get you can save up to buy yet ANOTHER special for each character. GREAT! It's nice seeing Kyo and Iori having their special from KOF 99. I also find Althena's new special cute. =)

I also loved the selection of characters. A nice variety to select from, and also giving respected characters their intros. the nice intro with Kyo and Ryu was cool. And not just a few lousy secret characters... there are a decent amount.

All in all, this is a great game to have in the collection of NGCP. This will be one of them fighting games you wont hardly get tired of til way later.
