"Very addictive game"

Picture Puzzle for the Neo Geo Pocket Color at first seemed to be the weakest game of the first 6 games I owned for the system. However, after giving it a chance, it has become my favorite and has logged the most hours in my NGPC.

Gameplay
Lets get things straight here first. This is a puzzle game so it is not very exciting when you first try it. The fun, however, lies in the game's challenge. There are a total of 200 puzzles comprising of three different sizes: 5 by 5 grids, 10 by 10 grids and 15 by 15 grids. Depending on the grid, you will have different numbers in each horizontal and vertical column. According to what number there is, different squares need to be colored in. When all the correct squares are colored in, it forms a picture (although some times it does not look like what it is supposed to). The game also keeps time and saves the time it takes for you to complete the puzzle so you can try to beat it faster keeping you entertained after you beat all the puzzles.
Score 10/10

Graphics
Alright, since this is a puzzle game, much can not be expected out of it, especially since it is on a hand held system. There is nothing totally awesome to look at but what it has is in no ways unappealing. The puzzles, even on 15 by 15 grid mode are easy to decipher, including the small squares. The only bad part is the pictures that each puzzle creates. Think of each square as one pixel. In the 5 by 5 grid, you have only 25 pixels that create the picture so it crates a very pixelated picture. The game does help by coloring it in after you find the picture to help the picture look a little more like it should.
Score 8/10

Sound
The game features some nice sound. There are three different music selections to listen to while playing so the music doesn't get too repetitive and there are two different sound fx to choose from so the continuous filling in of little squares doesn't get annoying. The best part is, if you don't like and of it, you can always turn the sound off and listen to something else.
Score 9/10

Overall, this game is very addictive. The best part is that if you have to turn the game off quickly, just press the power button to turn it off because when you come back to it, (provided you do not remove the game from the system) it will start right where you left off. You can also save in the middle of the puzzle and go to another game and come back to it later.

Pros
1, Addicting
2. Lots of fun
3. Save feature is innovating

Cons
1. Pictures sometimes do not look like what the game says they are,
