"Say goodbye to your social life..."

WOW! This is quite a cool game. Within a couple days of having bought this thing, I found myself playing this game everywhere. And I mean everywhere. You don't even wanna know where that little Neo Geo Pocket has been. But thats beside the point. I'm, here to tell you why you must buy this game right away.

GRAPHICS: 10
When I first turned this game on, I thought. Whats going on here?! These graphics are awful. But then, after seeing those crappy character pictures, and dull colors of the Pokemon Trading Card game on gameboy, I realized just how good these graphics are. When you're just walking around, the graphics are nothing to get excited about (although when compared to a certain pokemon game, they seem spectacular), but the hand drwan characters on the cards are amazing! And really the cards are the most important part of the game.

SOUND: 9.5
The sound is good, but I just wish they had more than just a few battle tunes. Once again, however, I have to compare this game to its closest competitor... the dreaded pokemon card game on gameboy. And once again, the little Neo Geo Pocket wins.

CONTROL: 10
Controls?! Who really needs good controls in a game like this? It has perfect control... but then again, thats not saying much.

REPLAY VALUE: 10
You will find yourself playing the same characters over and over just to get that Mech Zangief, or Geese Card. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I was when I got that 1200 bp card, and backed him up to 1500, and then used awakening to get him up to 1800, and then I linked him up with a 1500 card, and killed my guy in one hit... but I'm rambling, so let me stop, now.

BUY/RENT: BUY, NOW!
Well, this really isnt that hard to figure out. BUY IT! I wouldn't reccomend it for a couple reasons. Reason 1, unless you can collect all 300 cards in a day, don't even try renting it. You'll end up renting it over and over, and before you know it, you spent 50 dollars renting it, when you could have bought it for 35. Reason 2, this is a game that starts off a little slow, but quickly picks up the pace. There is a good chance that 1 day is not enough time to get addicted. And trust me... if you don't get addicted, you are seriously missing something. So, you rent it for a day, don't get into it, and take it back never to rent it again. Little to you know that you have just deprived yourself of hours upon hours of fun. Shame on you. What I suggest you do is buy it, and throw away the receipt so that way you're stuck with it, and you're forced to immerse yourself in it.

FINAL WORD: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
Buy this thing now! You are losing valuable card collecting time. Yeah, I know the premise seems a little goofy to someone who has never played a game of this type, but trust me... YOU NEED THIS GAME. Its hard to believe that one little chunk oh plastic and silicon can bring so much joy, but it does. Give this game an hour of playtime, and after that, prepare to say goodbye to your social life.
