Power Up Passwords
Insert the game Q-Bert in the second catridge slot of the MSX while the Gradius2/Nemesis 2 game is in the first catridge slot. While playing, pause the game with the F1 key on your MSX keyboard and type the following passwords, followed by the Return/Enter key.

Secrets
Play as Pentaro the Penguin
Put the ''Penguin Adventure'' in Slot B of the MSX, and you will play as Pentaro the Penguin instead of your normal ship.

Play as Popolon and Keep Weapons
Insert the game Maze of Galious in the second catridge slot of the MSX while the Gradius2/Nemesis 2 game is in the first catridge slot. If done correctly, Vic Viper will be replaced with Popolon and when you die, you'll keep your weapons.

Lifeforce Cheats
Glitches
Bypass the mini-boss in stage 6
In stage 6 (Zelos's fortress if you're playing Salamander or the brain area if you're playing Life Force), there is a mini-boss section consisting of multiple boss ships that fire sets of 4 lasers. Move your ship all the way to the top of the screen and you will be safe until this section ends. This glitch does not work in the Japanese re-release version of the game (the one with a purple background in attract mode).
