| What exactly is a Greatest Hits game? |
O============================================================================O
A greatest hit game is one that has been out on the market for at least nine
months and has sold 250,000 or more copies. It is known as Platinum Range in
Europe and The Best in Japan.
O============================================================================O
| What's the difference? |
O============================================================================O
Simply, there is none. All you get on the Greatest Hits version is a red
bar placed on the top of the game saying it's a Greatest Hits. However if it
really bothers you. You should be able to find the normal version shortly after
it’s been released as a GH for the same price.
It’s also common that a game that is selling extremely well will hold off on
being released as a greatest hit in order to bring in more money. They can also
hold it off until the sequel is released and then put it out then.
