THERE ARE A MILLION STORIES IN LIBERTY CITY. THIS ONE CHANGES EVERYTHING. ONCE
A TRUSTED WISE GUY IN THE LEONE CRIME FAMILY, TONI CIPRIANI WAS FORCED INTO
HIDING AFTER KILLING A MADE MAN. NOW HE'S BACK AND IT'S TIME FOR THINGS TO BE

The streets of Liberty City are in turmoil. Warring Mafiosi vie for control as
the town begins to self-destruct under waves of political corruption, organised
crime, drug trafficking and union strikes. No-one can be trusted as Toni tries
to clean up the mess of the city's chaotic underworld. Deraged hit men, morally
depraved tycoons, cynical politicians and his own mother stand in his way as
Toni tries to bring the city under Leone control.
Forced to fight for his life in an odyssey that will shake Liberty City to its
foundations, Toni must use any means necessary to secure his place in the
leadership of the Leone family in a town up for grabs.

Weapons are made available to you during the game. They can be picked up from
around the map or purchased from one of the three gunshops in Liberty City
(detailed above). You will also receive weapon pickups outside your safehouse
for each 10 hidden packages you collect.
When picking your weapons, you will only be able to have one particular weapon
per slot. For example, you can only have one pistol, one SMG, one melee weapon
and so forth. In order to pick up a gun to a slot that is not vacant, tap L
and you will replace your current weapon.

The pistol is the first weapon you will have the chance to get your hands on.
It's small and quite frankly a bit rubbish. It takes about five shots to kill
someone and in comparison to the Colt .357, is extremely poor. The pistol is
available after you collect ten hidden packages and can also be purchased from
the Ammu-nation store in Portland.

The colt python is a one hit kill pistol which is excellent for close range
combat. When faced with a group of targets, the colt allows you to aim with
R and hit left and right to switch between targets, firing as you go. The .357
is the recommended choice for the pistol slot and is available after the
collection of 50 Hidden Packages.

The AK-47 is an excellent long range weapon and can easily kill a target with
three shots. The AK-47 is available in the Staunton Island Ammu-nation, but it
can also be found on the roof above the sex club in the Red Light District. It
will prove invaluable in earlier missions due to it's power, range and overall
excellence.

This shotgun is excellent at close range, killing targets in one shot. However,
at long range the pump-action can be lacking. It can require as many as three
shots to eventually kill a target and whilst this may not appear to be a
problem, you soon notice it in more difficult missions. The shotgun is
available at Phil's gun shop in Staunton Island and will also be available
outside your safehouse upon the collection of 20 hidden packages.

VI. Spaz Shotgun

The Spaz is the best close range weapon on the game. Unlike the normal pump
action shotgun, it will definitely kill people in one hit at close to medium
range. However, the gun has no range over distance and you won't be able to
target anyone too far away. The Spaz is also capable of setting fire to cars
with one hit. The Spaz is a weapon pickup on the red beams of the burned down
factory near Vincenzo's warehouse.

sniper rifle for a number of reasons. The laser sighted doesn't need reloading

the collection of 70 hidden packages.

Molotov Cocktails are simply petrol bombs with a different name. When thrown,
the bottole breaks and releases the flammable fuel over the ground. This
catches fire and creates a block of flames. Any pedestrians within the firing
line will be catch fire and die. If you throw enough Cocktails at a vehicle,
it will eventually catch fire and explode.

XVI. Remote Detonated Grenades

They work in exactly the same way grenades with one key difference. After
throwing them, the grenades in your inventory are replaced with a detonator.
Wait until targets pass over or near the grenade and detonate it by pressing

the collection of 30 hidden packages. It provides you with "double health".
You will lose your armour before your lose your health in a gunfight and having
body armour can be crucial in later missions. Upon the completion of the
Vigilante missions (to level 12), Toni will receive the ability to have 150%
of the normal amount of body armour, which further increases his survival
chances.

Portland is the industrial sector of the city, with the docks and so forth
being prominent. The different districts are controlled by the mafia (Saint
Marks), the Triads (Chinatown) and the Sindaccos/Diablos (Hepburn Heights).
Key areas of note are the hospital and police station, marked as H and P on
the diagram respectively. The Pay N'Spray is in the Red Light District (marked
as S on the diagram). The Callahan Bridge will be your main route to the other
islands (marked as ]]]] on the map). At the beginning of the game, the bridge
is not yet built and you'll go flying off into the sea if you try and drive
over it. Following the Driving Mr. Leone mission, the bridge's construction
will have moved on to a point where only two blocks of road need to be built
and you can use the road as a rampway to get over this and on to the other
island.
The Ammu-nation store in the Red Light District is the first place you will be
able to purchase weapons. Initially a pistol is all that is available but upon
completion of the "Don in 60 Seconds" mission, the Micro SMG will be available
for purchase. The Ammu-nation is marked with an "A" on the diagram.
Your safehouse is where you will save the game and this is always shown on your
diagram with a silver disk.

Staunton is the business district of the city and is home to the skyscrapers,
the courthouse and Liberty City's equivilent of Central Park.
Key places of note are the hospital and polce station, marked with an H and a P
on the diagram respectively. The Pay N' Spray is just west of your safehouse
(again indicated by a silver disk on your radar).
There are two bridges connecting Staunton to Shoreside Vale and Portland - the
Shoreside Lift Bridge and the Callahan Bridge respectively. Like the way from
Portland via the Callahan Bridge, you will have to go over a ramp and land on
the road to drive to Portland from Staunton. The Shoreside Lift Bridge is
different, with the middle section rising on occasion to allow boats through.
Ammu-nation is indicated by the "A" on the diagram and the gun on your radar.
The list of weapons available has vastly increased and you are now able to
purchase an AK, Sniper Rifle, Grenades, Micro SMG or a set of body armour.

Shoreside Vale is the suburban area of Liberty City.
The Hospital and police station on Shoreside Vale are right beside each other
on the west side of the island.
Shoreside is probably the most difficult island to navigate due to it's layout.
For example, there are two different "levels" where the roads go with only one
or two ways to get there. Also, there are areas that will look nearby on your
radar but as you get close you realise you are on the wrong side of the island
and on the wrong level. As a result, it is advisable not to do missions such
as the Vigilante, Firefighter, Paramedic missions in Shoreside (Basically all
level missions that don't HAVE to be done in Shoreside (such as the Avenging
Angels).
The bridge that connects Shoreside to the rest of the city is the same bridge
as described in the Staunton section above (The Shoreside Lift Bridge). There
is no Ammu-nation on Shoreside and the Pay N' Spray - as always - is marked
with the little spray can on your radar.
As usual, your safehouse is marked with a silver disk and it's location is
shown on the diagram above by the letter "S".

I. Saving your game

In order to save the game, you'll need to go to your safehouse, indicated on
the map by a large disk. Enter the complex by walking into the yellow marker.
In order to save, walk into the disk and choose which slot you wish to save it
in. In order to save, you will need to have a memory stick inserted into the
memory stick compartment of the console.

II. Getting Busted/Wasted

Getting busted or wasted are the only two ways to lose all of your weapons and
have to start again from scratch. The boxes below detail both scenarios.

| "Getting Busted" refers to when the police apprehend you. The only real |
| time you can be busted is if you get in a car and don't drive away from the |
| policeman as quickly as you should. They pull you out of the car and you're |
| busted. Getting busted causes you to lose all of your weapons and you are |
| dumped outside the police station of the island you are currently on. It |
| also costs you money, although admittedly not much. |

| Getting Wasted |
o=============================================================================o
| "Getting Wasted" refers to when you die. When you die, you lose all of your |
| weapons and are dumped outside the hospital of the island you are on. There |
| are many ways to die, mainly getting shot by other parties during missions |
| or whilst you are driving around. You may also lose control of your bike |
| and crash in the water, get run over (incredibly unlikely) or fall off a |
| cliff. |

III. Wanted Level

As your crime spree goes on, you will receive more and more police attention
and this is reflected in one of the statistics, which reads "Highest News
Coverage" or words to that effect. Currently mine reads "International Crisis",
but towards the start of the game you will be lucky to sneak into the Liberty
Tree small columns on page 18.

| 1 Wanted Star |

| You can receive one wanted star for crashing into a police car, running |
| someone over in front of the police or starting a fight in the street. |
| In this situation, you are usually chased by one policeman on foot. On |
| occasion a police car may stop and the policeman driving it will get out |
| and chase you. These are simply to avoid. Go to an alleyway or another such |
| area and wait. The star will simply disappear and you will be back to being |
| an anonymous bystander again. You can also rid yourself of the wanted star |
| by collecting a police bribe or going to the Pay N' Spray. |

| 2 Wanted Stars |
o=============================================================================o
| You can receive two wanted stars for running over or killing a policeman, |
| blowing up a police car or going on an extended killing spree whilst |
| currently having police attention (You already have one star). There are |
| two realistic ways to avoid the police here. The first is to find a police |
| bribe and simply drive around and the other star will disappear. However, |
| you will normally have to go to the Pay N' Spray to get rid of the wanted |
| level. In this instance, the police are more aggressive and more police |
| will appear on the roads. When you drive past a police car, they will turn |
| their sirens on and give chase as opposed to when you have one star, where |
| they are more likely to turn off and head down to Joe's Pizza for a snack. |

| 3 Wanted Stars |

| By now the police have an interest in you and the only realistic way to get |
| rid of it is to get to the Pay N' Spray. The police will chase you and |
| attempt to crash into your vehicle. Helicopters will now come after you, |
| although they will only really cause damage to you if you stand still. |

| 4 Wanted Stars |
o=============================================================================o
| In order to reach 4 wanted stars, blow up the helicopter that comes after |
| you when you have 3 stars. In order to get rid of this wanted level, get to |
| the Pay N' Spray, avoiding the Police Enforcers which will be ramming you. |
| Stingers will also be out on the road and you may well see members of the |
| army coming down from the helicopters via ropes. |

| 5 Wanted Stars |
o=============================================================================o
| In order to reach 5 wanted stars, blow up the helicopter(s) that come after |
| you when you have 4 stars. There will be stingers on the roads, Police |
| Enforcers and the FBI will now be trying to ambush you. There will now be |
| two helicopters chasing you and members of special forces will come down on |
| ropes from the helicopters. Get to the Pay N' Spray to get rid of the |
| wanted level. |

| 6 Wanted Stars |

| Once you reach 6 wanted stars, you will have all forms of law enforcement |
| chasing you. The police, FBI and now the army will be tracking you down, |
| with the army coming equipped with a fully loaded tank. Get to the Pay N' |
| Spray to get rid of the wanted level. |

IV. Item Pickups

As you make your way through Liberty City, you will notice a number of "item
pickups" lying around. For example, on the rooftops above where you take
missions from JD O'Toole, you will notice an AK-47, which can prove invaluable
to you in earlier missions where you are expected to rely on rubbish guns such
as pistols.
There are three kinds of item pickup - health, armour and weapon. Health
pickups are available in front of every hospital and in the kitchen of your
safehouse. Armour pickups are recognisable as they glow green with the armour
rotating inside the sphere.

V. Police Bribes

Police bribes are yellow stars in blue circles which can be seen around the
city. By driving or walking through them, you automatically lose one wanted
star from your wanted level and this can prove invaluable in the event that you
are struggling to get to the Pay N' Spray to remove your wanted level.

VI. Aspects of your safehouse

There are 6 main aspects to your safehouse:

| In order to save the game, go to the disk on your radar and walk inside the |
| yellow marker. Once there, go into the living room of your safehouse and |
| walk into the disk. Select a block to save the game to and confirm it to |
| save the game. |

| Replenishing health... |

| Go into the kitchen of your safehouse and walk into the heart to replenish |
| your health to a full level. |

| There is no requirement to change your clothes other than to vary the way |
| you look to keep the game fresh. As you progress in the game, you will |
| unlock more outfits to change in to. Go into the bedroom of your safehouse |
| and into the shirt icon to cycle through the outfits available to you. |

| Weapon pickups... |

| Upon the collection of 10 (and then 20, 30 etc) hidden packages, you will |
| receive a weapon pickup, which spawns outside your safehouse ready for you |
| to take (either for ammo or as a new weapon). Furthermore, upon the |
| completion of all 20 rampages, you will receive an M60 pickup outside your |
| safehouse. |

| Storing cars in the garage... |
o=============================================================================o
| If you get your hands on a vehicle that you don't want to lose, then you |
| can put them in the safehouse's garage to store them. If, for example, you |
| successfully hijack a Rhino tank, you are not going to be overly thrilled |
| if you have to give it up again. The garage stores cars through saves for |
| as long as you want until you remove them. |

| Location for vehicle deliveries... |

| Upon the completion of certain missions, you will receive vehicles which |
| will spawn outside your safehouse. In certain instances, these vehicles |
| will continue to respawn (for example the PCJ 600 and the V8 Ghost will |
| continually respawn after the completion of the Love Media garage list). In |
| the cases of the "Super" cars, such as the Avenger or "Super" Landstalker |
| which are delivered to your Portland and Shoreside Vale safehouses upon the |
| completion of the Avenging Angel missions (in Portland) and the Tourism |
| missions respectively, are one time spawns and will not reappear once you |
| move them. Therefore it is advisable to store these cars in the garage as |
| soon as you arrive back at your safehouse to ensure you keep them. |

At the start of the game, you'll see a cinematic of Toni getting off a bus and
heading to a Payphone. Then he goes to meet Salvatore. Sal tells Toni that
he'll be working for Vincenzo or "Lucky". Toni will comment that he shouldn't
be taking orders from him, however Sal will immediately end any discussion
regarding the matter. Head outside and jump into the Kurma. Head to your new
safehouse. Toni will complain that it's rubbish, however Vincenzo will tell him
he's lucky to get anything. Having watched the cinematic regarding the
different aspects of the safehouse, get back in the car and take Vincenzo to
his own place. He'll tell you that he expects to see you back soon. He is your
first boss.
If you're familiar with Grand Theft Auto 3, then you don't really need to go
and look around you. If you are new to the city itself, then take a few minutes
to drive around and accustomise yourself to the city.

| There is a drug dealer in St. Marks who hasn't been working properly |
| recently. Jump in a car and head to the blip on the map. When you arrive, |
| he'll claim that he's sick and needs to rest. After much argument, you'll |
| have to take him to work. Get back in your vehicle and head towards the |
| blip on the map. Stop the car in the circle in Chinatown and you'll pass |
| the mission. A nice and easy start. |

| You need to go and kick the crap out of some dealers in Chinatown. The |
| first one is down an alleyway. Having driven to the blip, get out and go |
| down the alleywauy. Hold R and tap O until he falls down. Keep tapping O so |
| that Toni kicks him to death. Head back out of the alleyway and jump in |
| your car. There's no need to be fancy about it. Drive around the corner and |
| kill the dealer on the main road by running him over. Go to the last blip |
| and run that dealer over as well. Having done this, you will complete the |
| mission. |

| After watching the cinematic, head over to Ammu-nation and head inside. |
| You'll get a free pistol. Head outside and get back in your vehicle. Head |
| over to the construction site. When you arrive, get out and hold R. Run |
| towards the two guards (currently standing at either side of the entrance), |
| tapping O as you go. After the first one dies, quickly let go and press R |
| again to aim at the other one. Tap O and, once he dies, head through the |
| narrow passageway. There is one up ahead. Kill him in the same way and |
| make a left. You should see the target with an arrow over his head by the |
| car. Kill him and then take his mobile phone as proof of his death. You |
| will receive a phonecall now. Take the car the guy offers and head to the |
| Pay N' Spray just outside to complete the mission. |

| Three of Vincenzo's mates have managed to screw up a simple raid at the |
| garage. Get in the car just outside and head towards the garage. As you |
| approach, ram in through the left hand side and park beside the three men |
| until they get in. Since you rammed in the left, there should be sufficient |
| room for you to get out again. Do so and make right and follow the road |
| around. After it joins up again with the main carriageway, make a sharp |
| left and then a right. This is the easiest way to get to the Pay N' Spray. |
| Once there, you will be able to get rid of your wanted rating and simply |
| drive them to Vincenzo's place. If this method doesn't work, then you can |
| jump in a car yourself and get to the Pay N' Spray. Whilst you may receive |
| messages about "Keep the gang together", this is merely to let you know |
| that you can't complete the mission unless you drive to Vincenzo's. |

| There is a car stashed with drugs just down the road from Vincenzo. Drive |
| to the blip and get in the car. As soon as you get in the alarm will go |
| off. Don't panic since it doesn't make a difference if it's on or not. Once |
| you're in the car and drive forward a bit, the cops will try to block you |
| in and start shooting you. Head out the right hand side of the blockade and |
| make a hard left up the path. There is a stinger to avoid. Head straight |
| down the street and make the first left, then a right followed by an |
| immediate left. Head straight down onto the dual carriageway and make a |
| right. Follow the road down and make a right followed by another right to |
| see the Pay N' Spray directly in front of you. Drive in to get rid of the |
| wanted stars. Having dealt with this, take the car to the lock-up. When you |
| arrive, Toni will accuse Vincenzo of setting him up. After the |
| conversation, take the car to the crusher down the street to complete the |
| mission. |

| change. JD can't be seen talking to anyone who works for the Leones and |
| your suit gives you away. Having done this, head to the large "J" on the |
| map. Having done this, you'll now be able to take missions from JD. |

| B. Bone Voyeur |

| JD believes that some of his hookers are stealing money from him. He asks |
| you to accompany him. In order to complete the mission, you'll need to |
| drive around the Red Light District until the blips appear. They appear |
| every time JD recognises one of his workers. At some point, there will be a |
| pimp you'll have to kill. Simply run him over and continue with the |
| mission. Once you have collected the money, head back to the club and drop |
| him off. |

| C. Don in 60 Seconds |

| This is a relatively simple mission. Once you have watched the cutscene, |
| head out onto the main road and get in the car. Make 4 consecutive first |
| right turns and you'll be straight in front of the Pay N' Spray. Head in, |
| lose your wanted level and then drive to Salvatore's place. He'll tell you |
| that "you done good" and to contact him. You'll now have the option of |
| going to JD's, Salvatore's or to your mother. |

| D. A Volatile Situation |

| You'll need to head over to the casino and protect it from attack. The |
| first thing I can recommend is to get an Uzi from Ammu-nation, which is |
| available to buy after you complete 'Don In 60 Seconds'. Get a PCJ from |
| Salvatore's place beforehand and then head down to the casino. As soon as |
| the dot appears on your radar, immediately go to it. Whilst the vehicle is |
| moving towards the casino, it is much easier to deal with them from |
| distance. It also prevents them from being able to blow up the casino. |
| After two explosions, you fail the mission as the casino is destroyed. |
| There are three attacks on the casino, and once you've dealt with them |
| you'll see a short cinematic with the Sindacco gang members driving a truck |
| bomb towards the casino. Go to it and fire at it until it explodes. If it |
| doesn't, then kill any Sindacco that get out and get in the truck, driving |
| it away from the casino. Once you are far enough from the casino, jump out |
| and run away to complete the mission. |

| E. Blow Up 'Dolls' |

| This is a relatively easy mission. Take any random car and head over to |
| 8-Balls to have it fitted with a bomb. Now drive towards the Dolls House. |

| Head to the marker at Chinatown and follow Casa. He doesn't appear on the |
| radar so you will need to keep him in sight the entire time. Always try to |
| be a corner behind him, so that you can see where he goes without him |
| realising that he's too close. He'll pick up two prostitutes and drive |
| towards Callahan Point. Opposite the mini-mart, he'll drive off into the |
| trees and a short cinematic will play, showing him in a nappy. Zoom in with |
| the camera and take a picture of Casa. Drive back to Ma's place to complete |
| the mission. |

| B. Big Rumble in Little China |

| This is relatively simple. There are two groups of Triads that you have to |
| kill in order to complete the mission. Head to the first blip on the radar. |
| This is a 'bullet-proof' fish truck. Ram it a few times until the |
| passengers get out. At this point, speed forward and then swerve round. |
| Accelerate and run them over before heading off to the next blip. Take out |
| your pistol and hold in R when you get into the alleyway. Once you have aim |
| on a Triad, use the analog stick to move them into your eyeline and fire. |
| Do this until Triads are dead and you complete the mission. |

| C. Grease Sucho |

| After watching the cinematic, get in the Sentinel parked outside Mamma's |
| restaurant and head to the race. In order to win, you'll need to follow a |
| few simple tips: |

| - Accelerate to top speed only when you can see a good distance in front |
| - Let go of X before corners to ensure you turn easily and can accelerate |
| away quicker |
| - Do not panic if they overtake |
| |
| After winning the race, chase after Sucho. When he gets out of the car, |
| kill him to complete the mission. |

| D. Dead Meat |
o=============================================================================o
| Head down to Casa's place and park in the marker. When he comes out, head |
| to the hospital, make a right and then cut across the grass into Trenton. |
| Head to the blip and park in the marker. When you're inside, you'll have to |
| kill Casa with an axe. He runs around a lot, but when he stops, use L and |
| the analog stick to see what way he is looking. Walk up behind him by |
| gently pushing the analog stick and hold R. Keep tapping O until he dies. |
| Sometimes he gets away after one hit, so simply follow the same method |
| again. After this, you'll make Casa into meat and be ready to deliver it |
| to his own deli. Once you're in the truck, you'll have a two star wanted |
| level. This is relatively simple to get rid of. Drive to the Pay N' Spray |
| in the Red Light District to remove the wanted level. Two stars into |
| difficult to deal with. Once the wanted level is gone, drive to the blip on |
| the radar and park to watch a short cinematic of a worker at the Deli |
| buying the meat from you. |

| E. No Son of Mine |

| Before this mission, head over to where you went for JD's missions. If you |
| haven't completed his missions by now, then get on a bike and drive through |
| the marker. Go up the stairs and along the roof. Jump onto the other roof |
| with the billboard on it. You should see an AK. Pick it up. There are 100 |
| bullets in it and it will prove invaluable for this mission. Head to Ma's |
| place and walk into the marker. She will tell you that she is disappointed |
| with you and has ordered hitmen to come and eliminate you. That was nice of |
| her. As soon as you start, pick up the shotgun by the stairs and walk to |
| the top of the stairway. Kill the hitman standing there. Take out the AK |
| and take aim at the person behind the car. If you can't hit him, then |
| you'll hit his car and it will explode, killing him. Move on to the next |
| two to the right. Go down the stairs and kill them before getting into |
| their car and driving to the hospital. Get your life replenished if need be |
| and go up the ramp. |

| Once up the rampway, you will face off against two more waves of attack. |
| Park your car where it is indicated on the diagram. For the second wave, |
| take out your AK and kill any that are at the bottom of the rampway before |
| referring to the radar and killing any that run up the grassy hill and are |
| shooting at you over the wall on your right. Keep referring to your radar |
| during this mission as it is crucial. For the third wave, you will need to |
| do something similar, however you are probably running low on health. This |
| is where the car comes in crucial. If you stand beside the car, it seems as |
| though the hitmen will shoot at the car as opposed to you. As a result, you |
| can remove all the hitmen shooting at you over the wall in one quick go. |
| Simply go back a bit and shoot the car with a shotgun. AFter it explodes, |
| you will either complete the mission or find a stray hitman running around |
| who you can kill with your AK. |

| You will have to pick up six girls and drive them to the docks. Get in a |
| Sentinel and drive to the blips. Get three girls in at a time and drive |

| C. Frighteners |

| In order to this quickly, head to the fire station in Harwood and get in |
| the fire truck. It is speedy and will ram any car off the road in no time. |
| As soon as they get out, get out and beat them up until they get up and |
| drive off. |

| D. Rollercoaster Ride |
o=============================================================================o
| Take the PCJ outside Leone's house and go out of the driveway. Make a right |
| and speed down the hill. Go to the blip. When you get near, you'll be told |
| to remove the chauffeur. Simply run him over on the bike. Get into the limo |
| now and wait for the union boss to appear. Once you do, get onto the dual |
| carriageway and speed down in it. There is a ramp as you approach the |
| bridge which will fill up the bar in no time. Once you arrive at the ramp, |
| hit it at a bit of an angle. This will get in a bit of spin as well and the |
| bar will fill up. Drive her to the docks and park in the marker to complete |
| the mission. |

| Drive Maria to the markers indicated on the map. First time round you will |
| get a one star wanted level, which you can easily be rid of simply by |
| driving around. Once you have got rid of this, get to the next marker. Park |
| facing the opposite way of the Callahan Bridge. Once Maria comes out, you |
| will have your tyre blown out and a three star wanted level. Go to the Pay |
| N' Spray by taking the final right before the curve in the road, followed |
| by another right. Once you have got rid of the wanted level, head to her |
| apartment to complete the mission. |

| B. Taken for a Ride |

| Take Maria to the marker so she can pick up the drugs. Once they drive off |
| with her, ram them until they get out and then run them over. Drive Maria |
| back to her apartment to complete the mission. |

| C. Booby Prize |

| Head up to Leone's mansion and take the PCJ from outside. Get to the start |
| of the race. This is particularly easy to win if you follow the same steps |
| I advised for the car race. The best place to accelerate is on the dual |
| carriageway at Callahan Point when you are driving past the mini-mart. Due |
| to the makeup of the road, you can see ahead of you and know where to go to |
| avoid the oncoming traffic. As you are in a PCJ, you have much more speed |
| than the other competitors, so even if you find yourself behind, you can |
| always make up distance at the longer stretches of the track. |

| D. Biker Heat |

| Following the cutscene, head down to Chinatown. You should still have the |
| Shotgun from the earlier "No Son of Mine" mission (if you are following the |
| tips I gave at the start of this section). If so, you will find this next |
| part easy. Once you come face to face with the three henchmen, simply run a |
| little bit away, turn back, press R and fire with your shotgun to kill |
| them. Take their SMGs and then get on the bike that is sitting there. You |
| don't have to take down Wayne as he's on his bike. He takes a lot of |
| shortcuts (alleyways and dirt tracks), and it can be hard to follow him. |
| Take the main roads when he takes alleyways and simply keep him in sight |
| until he gets back to Chinatown. When he does, he will get off the bike. |
| You can now get off your bike, run in, and kill him. He has a shotgun, so |
| don't get too close or you will find yourself dead. |

| E. Overdose of Trouble |

| Maria has overdosed on drugs, so you'll need to follow the blips on the |
| map. In order to complete this mission easily, get on a PCJ (again from |
| Leone's mansion) and drive to the blips indicated. Whilst you may find |
| Wayne's mates catching up occasionally, they rarely will while you are on a |
| PCJ and that means that you will find it quite easy to get ot he blips long |
| before they do and then to the final blip at Salvatore's mansion to |
| complete the mission. |

| Get in the sentinel parked outside and pick up the men indicated on the |
| map. Head to the docks and park in the marker. Once there, you will find it |
| is a police trap. Get into the Patriot and get out of the docks. Drive to |
| the Pay N' Spray by taking a right out of the docks and then the first left |
| you come to after that. Make a right and go through the tunnel-like walking |
| area before making a right, make a left and the Pay N' Spray is on the |
| left. Once this is done, take the car to Salvatore's lockup to complete the |
| mission. |

| After the cutscene, get in a car and follow the gang member in question. He |
| will take you to a small alleyway. You can kill one or two of the gang |
| members here by getting out and shooting them, or running them over. If you |
| were lucky enough to get a bike then you are able to do drive bys on them. |
| After this, the car with Leone in it will speed off and you'll need to |
| catch up. You already know they are taking it to the car crusher, so simply |
| head straight down and wait. As soon as the car stops, get in and drive |
| forward and swerve around and head towards Salvatore's mansion to complete |
| the mission. You can't fiddle around with the Sindacco at the minute, as |
| you only have a small window of opportunity to get the car away from the |
| magnet. |

| Head across the street and collect the sniper rifle before going into the |
| yellow marker. |

| Your first sniper point is (1). This will allow you to deal with the wave |
| of attack at (4) and (5). After they are eliminated, Salvatore and his men |
| will move up the street. Head to (2) and eliminate all Sindacco at (6). |
| After this, you will see a number of red markers on the radar, and a number |
| of arrows on the screen, however you won't be able to hit them. Jump up on |
| the ledge and look down. This will allow you to get the shots on the |
| Sindacco and the police that arrive soon afterwards. After they are all |
| dead, you complete the mission. |

| C. Calm Before the Storm |

| Before this mission, go and get the AK on the roof that joins with the roof |
| of the club where you take missions from JD. Buy some Uzi ammo from |
| Ammu-nation also. |

| After the cutscene, steal a car and head up to Salvatore's. Watch the |
| cutscene and then head down to the construction site at Hepburn Heights - |
| you don't have to wait for the helicopter at this part. For the next |
| "stalker" part, you'll need to drive at the same speed as the helicopter. |
| Follow it to a roof at Chinatown. Once you arrive, you'll need to get |
| closer, so get out of your vehicle and head up the stairs and into the |
| yellow marker. |

| Take out your Uzi and immediately kill those you can aim at. Now, take out |
| your sniper rifle (saved from last mission) and kill the Triad on your |
| right and the Triad on your left in the far corner. After this you will |
| find that anyone you try to snipe at in the road will move out of your |
| eyeline. Go to the top of the stairs and take aim with the AK at anyone you |
| can hit. Now get the Life Heart, get on the Faggio and speed through onto |
| the dual carriageway. Turn back and speed towards the Triads, running them |
| all over to complete the mission. |

| D. The Made Man |

| Get in the car and drive towards Harwood. Before you arrive, you will be |
| ambushed by some Sindacco hitmen. Drive towards Salvatore's mansion and go |
| up the driveway and park by the garage. As the cars come up, simply kill |
| the gang members as they get out. When they are dead, get back in the car |
| and head towards the marker. Once there, Mickey will shoot JD in the head. |
| You'll have to take Mickey home - he lives opposite the hospital. After |
| dropping Mickey off, take the first right and speed towards the water. |
| Before you reach the grass, bail out by pressing Triangle and watch the car |
| go flying into the river. Once this is done you complete the mission. |

| I hope you've taken my advice and saved the game after every mission. This |
| means you should still have a handsome amount of shotgun bullets at your |
| disposal from the "No Son of Mine" mission. You're going to need one hit |
| kill weapons to complete this mission. After watching the cinematic, head |
| down the jetty nearby, go up the boat and walk into the yellow marker. As |
| soon as you start, go down and take the second right instead of the left. |
| You should see a Colt pistol sitting there. This is a one hit kill weapon |
| and, along with your shotgun, should prove invaluable during this mission. |
| Make your way down |
| the stairs and take a left to find some body armour. Continue down the |
| stairs and walk into the yellow marker to begin the mission proper. |

| The first thing you want to do is take out your colt just before you go |
| into the yellow marker. As soon as you start, look at your radar. Tap R and |
| kill one of the men before tapping it again and tapping O to kill another |
| one. As they spawn, they will appear on the radar running towards you. When |
| this happens, turn Toni towards them then Tap R and O to get the kill. If |
| you run out of Colt bullets (which you shouldn't really do) then take out |
| your shotgun and continue this strategy. AFter killing them all, you will |
| see a short cinematic where Vincenzo will enter the hull through the door. |
| You'll now have to kill him. Simply take aim at him with your SMG (he |
| should be behind some boxes now) and use the analog stick to run around |
| until you can get a clear shot. Shoot him to complete the mission. |
