first, use flash bombs. bring stuff to make more, and get both raths in one flash. aim for the wings, if ur lucky, u can get both wings just touching and hit both. then bring pitfalls if u like. i used thunder tip, but gs is supposedly worthy too, so try eager cleaver, or higher version if possible. remember u dont have to beat this quest right away. i did because im an idiot, but u dont have to. i used garuga s, since i was able to get w/out glitch, and training against him helped me kill the quest, so dont glitch. i also heard u can lance from the ledge w/ ur sheild up and use mega juice for endless block, but i havent tried that cuz i suck w/ lances. if u wanna kill garuga, i used frost edge +, didnt need anything else. finally, always stay under silver's shadow if he flies so u dont get clawd to death. i reccomend u chop off both tails, or at least ians because her backflip is evil. after that all u can hope for is good luck. have fun! ull get a good weapon, the shining wyvern blade, once u beat this unless u have absolute crap for luck (i almost had to beat it a 2nd time, JUST got enough crap to make off first victory on this quest)

go for the slvr rath first. the gold Rath is a pushover if you play right. and yes, cut off both tails.

Ok this is very simple dont listen to the people who say u need a devil slicer at least. i did it yesterday easy ill tell you how
Armor:
Full Kirin + armor it gives +3 to all resistences and it up the healing affect of items so mega potion heal like half ur bar if u cook blessed wine and dragon head.
Weapon"
Eager Cleaver
Items"
5 flash bombs ( along with materials to make 10 more)
10 potions and Mega potions and 2 max potions you might need them if u die to regain ur whole bar.
5 Mega Juices( use all of them it helps a Lot! )
10 Whetstones
Demon flute( use only after the power pill they give u wheres off)
Armor talon and power talon.

OK go after the RATHIAN FIRST it is a lot easier because the rathalos has less life.
just use the flash bombs but make sure u get both of them.
Next when u first go after the rathian(gold) dont use any flash bombs use them only after u chop off the tail ( try only when she is shooting the fire ball) next start use ing the flash bombs and just attack right under to avoid the tail swings until it dies.
If done right u should have about 4 flashes left use them on the rathalos with the same tactics. good luck =)

im still not sure how to beat them. i carry a armorcharm,armortalon, powercharm and powertalon with yian garuga armor( my helmet is garuga s) my gaunlets are kirin+ , my weapon of choice is the greatsword judgement and all together with a attack strenghing dinner from the cats, my stats round out to be 1200 attack 166 defense.i found using a thunder attribute sword and shield is a lil easier( I own a kirin ultimus and thunder tip) but whatever i do i cant seem to stop dying. its mainly because of their charge. its to much to take even with mega juice. i think fighting this two at one time is dumb. i play games for a challenge not to get my teeth kicked in

Take your time, and hit on the right time. possible chances are when they shoot a fireball. dont attack head on when you are unsure of what your doing when they are in rage.
