I already defeated old man sheng, and there's an obstacle blocking my way through metatron, somehow i just can't examine it, am i missing something?, please someone help.. thanks.

There's a big bird statue right after sheng and befor metatron, i just can't examine it.., is there something i must do first?...
Obstacle?
what obstacle? there is the save& healing point....but no obstacle wait...i collected all the tokens before coming to him...try it then...the bird in which you said it will ask you questions...
