Question from Deidon

Is being over leveled to easy for chapter 2?

I have a lvl 35 ninja, lvl 15 black mage, lvl 12 monks, and a lvl 1 dark night. (Downleveling tenchenic.) (Continuing to lvl them all to 40 before i continue to the last battle in chapter 1.

Will this make the rest of the game to get them all to 40 before chapter 1 ends.

P.s. After chapter 1 i plan to lvl tham all to 60 before chapter 2 ends ;-)

Answer

wow high level.you do have the advantage, but you can finish it in lower levels and yes,it will be easy. Note:if you can, make your other characters reach the ninja so the ninja won't do all th work in batlle

Answer

You can finish the entire story with characters around level 40. Leveling up that much takes most of the fun out of the game.

Ha that is awesome having a party like that. It actually took me a whole chapter to realize how to change jobs... It was then that i realized the importance of reading the manual.

Enough of my rants. Your party will be overleveled and you will find the batlles a lot easier. But I suggest you balace you party more for the rest of the game. My party suggestions are A Black Knight with Holy Blade as the second ability. A Black Mage with Arithmetics. You should switch your monks with another Black Knight with the Monks abilites and you should have your ninja level up some magic skills transform him into a samurai with Dual Wield and your Party should be unkillable storywise. If you want to steal then give it to your ninja since his speed will be to your advantage.

Actually it is nice to have high levels in the Story Line but as far as Random Battles go its not paticuarlly a good thing to have the reasons being is because you will have week armor compared to other and the Random Battles have beasts as high as your highest person goes and there attack will go up and in your case u might be below 300 hp and when u keep etting higher in the Chapter you are doing it will be extremly hard to get past these Random Battles beacause you could die with 1 hit.

Answer

There are a few story battles, such as Tchigolith Fenlands in Chapter 2 or Finath River in Chapter 4, that operate like random battles and have monsters set to the level of your highest-leveled character. Most of the game will be absurdly easy, but those battles will be very nasty.

Of course it will be easier..but the final battle in the chapter against the zodiac braves still could prove a challenge though...but hell, it be a whole lot easier.

Well, I got my average party members' lvls around Lv50 [more or less] during Chapter 1 and I got bored since the enemies are getting harder because I can't buy better equipment until I advance more in the game. For human enemies, their equips will be based on their levels and their levels will be based on the level of your highest-leveled character. So, answering your question, it's intermediately difficult but easy if you are good w/ strategies and for most of the story-line battles [I guess? =P].
It's been almost a year [again, more or less] since I've last played this game and I'm gonna play this game again since I was bored finishing FF Tactics Advance in VBA and I've already experimented with the cheats there... [of course after I beat the game... it was quite short :| ]
Anyways, what Bdogtitans is what I'm currently saying right now.

Found my old save file in my PC... party full of Dark Knights O.O well of course not all of them... Cloud rules! XP
