Asked on: 1/22 6:20PMHow do i beat that Behemoth chasing me in stage 2? which player is best to use to defeat it, richter or maria?
i heard it takes 12 hits to kill it using richter, but how do i do that...kinda hard. i gotta do so to complete the OST. any advice here?
In my opinion the fastest more efficient way to kill it is to use Maria and the turtle animal crash and use should use it in a certain way after the first hole and you should be behind him continuing attacking him with the doves while the turtle in front of him dealing damage.
With Richter you should learn to use him while he is walking backward and facing the behemoth and that can be done with holding square (while you are facing the left) and moving to the right, attack carefully and everything should be ok.

statusA very cheap way to defeat him is to take the axe sub weapon and leave the Behemoth take any closer possible to you. Then do an item crash and you will damage him a bit, and you will be behind him, without any damage. As soon as you get behind him he will stop moving, and you can finish him by whipping while drinking a cup of tea. Easier to do than to say, believe me!
Another way, although it requires you build up about fifty Hearts, is to use the Holy Water's Item Crash (Hydro Storm) twice. You need forty Hearts to use it, though, so gather as many Hearts as you can on the path to Wyvern in Stage 1. Defeat the Wyvern without using the Axe Subweapon, but make sure you have the Axe when you reach Stage 2. From there, continue apace and avoid collecting the Knife at the beginning of the stage. Collect the Holy Water when you can and make sure you have at least forty Hearts. When the cutscene ends and the Behemoth charges, use the Item Crash immediately. If you're lucky, you won't have to use a second one.
For clarity, it takes twelve hits for the Behemoth to die prematurely -- the same amount of hits needed to dispatch a Guardian. As a bonus for your victory, the Behemoth will yield a Sound Item or a $700 money bag if you already got the Sound Item.
