How do I get past Fields of Elysium?

Ok, so I have gained my shield, efreet, and my blades. I have killed all the attackers and I keep killing ghost but the battle block is still up. How many ghost do I have to kill? It's been a long while since I have killed all the attackers in the field was I not suppose to kill them all?

Are you absolutely sure that no ghosts are left? You are supposed to kill all of them. Cause I did that and searched everywhere and found the last ghost. That or otherwise it's a glitch, try starting from a earlier save point if you're absolutely sure that none are left.

Answer

Yes you were supposed to kill them. When you have all the magic back, you must then approach the stairs to remove the block. If you have all the magic back and you have killed most or all of the enemies and ghosts and it doesn't go down when you approach the stairs it may be a glitch.
