Star Ocean: First Departure

I found him hard as well...hmm, well thereis only one real stategy to beat bosses when they get too hard. Train, make sure you have plenty of revive of items then go back again when your 5 levels up. He'll probably be easier then...and if you STILL have trouble, try going to the Arena in Astral. It's a good place to level Roddick and he'll be your major attack force. Also I perfer to have three attackers against him. (Roddick, Ilia and Mavelle) I used Millie as my healer. You should be fine if she has Raise dead. Hope this helps.
