Get changed into the enemy.
walk slowly and act casual.
do not aim your gun! they will think it is an offensive act.

statusTry "stalking" if you're having trouble with being noticed.
Make sure when the zone turns red you are quiet. If you walk normally they will hear you. I think stalking is triangle (hold). Also stay out of sight (dur).
before they shoot the alert mode, try grabing them and the press DOWN, you will slam them to the ground, it will give you time to run or to grab him again to choke him.
There might be a hole in the floor. Enemies tend to notice your feet and go on alert. look at the floor to make sure there aren't any crawlable ducts.
If you have A c-box with you,it helps a lot as long as they don't see it moving.Stealth(the item stealth)helps to.
If you look like them they will not attack you unless: 1.You stalk 2. You point your gun 3.Another type of enemie saw you 4.Crawl 5.Climb 6.Touch the enemie 7.If there is caution,evasion or alert. All you have to do is walk normally. Use stealth. Hide behind walls or make a sound somewhere else then hide where you can
