"Pursuit Force is fun"

Hi and welcome one and all to my Review on the game Pursuit Force for the PSP, let us see how good it is.

Story 7/10

The story for this game is good. You are a police officer and you are sent to track, kill and arrest all of the main gangs around capital city. The missions always go along with a little story which is good.

Sound 7/10

The sound is Moderate but not great. There are the noises you will expect like car engines, police sirens and gun shots, all these are done very well. The speech from all the other gangs are very good though and might keep you amused for a short while, although they will get a bit boring towards the end of the game.

Graphics 9/10

One of the games good points, Pursuit force has amazing graphics enough said. Your character and all of the criminals you will go up against will look extremely detailed and the cars you drive and take control of will look nearly to be always different. Also during missions a little dialogue box comes up, it is either from the chief of police or the enemies you are going against, this is done in a well used comic book fashion.

Game play 9/10

The best part of the entire game. Pursuit force provides us with a fun main career mode and also gives us many different modes such as time trial and Race mode.

The controls are really easy to get used to. R button to fire, X to accelerate and circle to jump to another car. Yes it is really that simple.

The main career is split up into four different sections. On foot, Driving, On a boat and Helicopter. All of them are extremely fun as each one of them are different from the other one, well accept when your on a boat and when your driving, they are the same really.

When you are on foot you have to take out criminals by shooting or arresting them, these levels are really fun. When your driving you either have to capture or destroy the enemy vehicles, this also happens when you are on boat. When in a helicopter you have to take out vehicles with the helicopter gun.

A new introduction is the justice bar and the new way of capturing vehicles. Firstly justice is got when you perform good deeds when driving such as destroying enemies, dodging civilian cars. Once got justice can heal your car and also let you perform a slow motion jump. Capturing Vehicles is when you jump onto another car and shoot the drivers to take their vehicle, sounds fun? Believe me it is.

The difficulty for this game is extremely hard and is for the good gamers out there. the difficulty ranges from the missions, there are protect, destroy and capture missions throughout the game you should all know what these are.

Overall the game play is the games main fun point.

Replay Value 8/10

The career mode isn't long but it should take you about 10 hours. After that though there are loads of things to unlock, such as race tracks and new vehicles and even cheats.

Overall 8/10

This is one of the play station portables better games and I say it is game for gamers who want a challenge.
