"Pretty good"

This game is pretty much what happens after Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow (in other words, the first movie), so basically, it is the videogame based on the movie with the same title. It is telling story about looking for the heart of Davy Jones and such. The game was pretty good, but could have been better.

Gameplay: 5/10
The gameplay was pretty bad. The analog stick controlment was somewhat off-exact at times and there were many glitches in the graphics, such as when you come close to a wall and an enemy. The screen gets glitchy. Also, the environment wasn't all that good. I did, however, enjoy the comments during gameplay, such as "Not ones for hospitality". The attacks and combos were pretty good, too. I did not enjoy, however, that you had to press a specific button to attack a specific type of enemy. Sometimes it does not show the button above its head and it is hard to tell the difference in some of the areas because of the lighting. Although these may be true, the gameplay was pretty good.

Sounds: 9/10
In my view, the sound in the videogame was very close to the sound in the movie. The voices weren't choppy or messed up. Also, the background music was quite nice. It was music from the movie, but it was sometimes overpowered by the sound effects of the game.

Graphics: 7/10
The graphics were pretty good. The characters had somewhat 3D graphics. The main problem, though was that the characters basically looked like dolls with blobs for hair. I liked the enemy graphics more than the characters. I think that the level scenery was done well, but somewhat messed up. Also, I hated how at somepoints of the game, the camera would be fixed into one angle. It made gameplay MUCH harder. Also, I did not like the menu graphics. When you pop in the UMD, the picture that shows up is SO HORRIBLE, I thought my game was broken or something because usually the pics are nice and usually moving. This was a picture of Jack Sparrows head looking like a doll with blob hair. Also, when you get into the game and choose between Multiplayer or Single Player, I think the menu could have been made a lot better. I did however enjoy the fact that the game saves different pictures depending on what level you just beat.
