Pursuit Force

Review by Moonsummit

"Looks cool, but is it cool?"

Well, this game is basically a racing, shooting, and True Crime all in one. You're a police, and you run around "Busting caps". The case looks good, and the demos look really cool, and whats even better, when you watch your friends playing it, it looks really cool as well. Very cool x3. But the thing is, this game is not as good as it looks, why? Read below and see;

What is this game like?
You're a good guy in this game unfortunately for those who love to be a bad guy. Almost all missions are half racing half shooting. Put bluntly, you drive around in a card shooting at the bad guys. Of course, now and then you get the slightly different missions. There are 5 gangs you can fight, with a total of 5 mission in each gang. Meaning there are 25 missions in the whole game. There are also racing missions available. But the thing is, if you are playing this game for the races why not try wipeout or Need for speed?

Graphics: 10/10

One of the best available game (graphic wise) on the Psp. The scenary looks great, movies clips look amazing, and everything else is basically perfect for a handheld game. Nothing bad you can say about the graphics, except; prepare to be impressed. But some people say -"First impressions are only first impressions."

Gameplay: 5/10

It is good at the start, but gets old fast. The missions increase in difficulty way too fast, meaning that before you know it, you are doing an insanely hard mission after playing the game for about 20 minutes. If you love to get stuck on games and trying it over and over again perhaps you could try this game. The shooting doesn't require aiming, just hold [R] and you're all set for the rest of the game.

Audio: 7/10

Would be much higher as the sound effects are not bad. But is gets extremely annoying when people say the same thing over and over again. When you fail the mission, it's the same thing over and over. It will drive you made since you will be failing many many missions in this game. But nevertheless, during the game, the music isn't too shabby.

Storyline: 7/10

There isn't a proper storyline, but you feel like you are doing something as a police guy. Don't expect anything fascinating except "kill him" or "destroy that".

Overall: 7/10 (Not an average)

This game is just an average game overall. There are definitely games far worse out there, and to be honest, this game may actually be worth the £20 you spend on it. But be warned, this game is not as good as it looks.

Pros:
*Nice Graphics
*Action packed

Cons:
*Boring missions
*Repetitive
*Gets hard too early
*Short game
