"Another game that shows graphics do not matter"

Seriously, too many people judge games by their graphics these days. They take a look at the back cover and then say -"Oh my god I'm not playing that game". This is only true to a certain extent. So please, if you are considering to buy this game, do not judge it on the graphics.

So what is this game like?
This game is similar to the Final Fantasy series. The battles are random, the fights are turn based with the battle music very similar to any Final Fantasy game. Like most of these RPGs, the whole game is based on a storyline which you must follow. Not quite a "do what you want" game.

Storyline: 9/10

This is one of the few games that make you want to see what happens next. Some parts are a bit cheesy, but most of it is well done. You're basically a half dragon half human boy that was found frozen inside a mine. Then, you escape but turning into a human. Then you end up in a village and the story carries on from there. The cool part is that you're half dragon half human, being superior to everyone else.

Gameplay: 8/10

It would have been better if they made it feel less stiff. The game makes you feel like you have to do these things and go these ways. Even walking round there are a lot of places you cannot access just because of a fence. I mean come on, can't we jump over it? So yeah, very restricted. The fighting is turn based like I mentioned earlier, and basically, you take turns to attack depending on your speed. The most unique part is that you can examine the monsters so the you may learn the next skill they do. But the weirdest part is that your SP does not regenerate on it's own like most games. Weird.

Graphics: 5/10

Poor to say the most for a Psp game. Even for a portable game, the graphics are poor. Remember the Gameboy SP? Or gameboy advance? Even they possess the power to run this game if not better. Nothing in this game looks impressive except for maybe the bosses or your dragon transformations. Just imagine a 2D version of runescape with slightly 3D landscape plus buildings. Eww...

Music: 6/10

I wouldn't say it is that good. Sounds like beeping at certain times to be perfectly honest. Not that well done, could have been much better. Although different places have their own unique music and all.

Overall: 8/10

This game has a load of potential. If they improved the graphics, battle system, and even the music. I think this is a new Final Fantasy in making. If you love RPGs with a challenge, definitely try this one out. But if you are a casual gamer and just like to pick up and play, perhaps this game is not for you.

Pros:
*Long storyline
*GOOD storyline
*Fairly good gameplay

Cons:
*Very restricted to what you may or may not do
*Graphics
*Lamish music
*Not for casual gamers
