"*yawns* I hope I'm alive for this review..."

*yawns yet again* Sorry I just finished playing this game. Excuse me for yawning.

I bought this game for the hope of having a fresh hack n' slash for my PSP, so I could kill on the go. But this game, it's not even fast enough to give me that HnS feel. This game reminds me so much of Phantasy Star Online, that I even started playing that. -_-. Although I make them sound alike, there is obviously a huge difference, seeing as I would never give PSO a 6.

In terms of sound, BH gets pretty redundant. I heard at least the same track 7 times while playing in under a hour. That's sad. What the hell happened to the music in this game? It's like the Music composer dies in the middle of production, and then they used the ones he created, remixed some to make different tracks, and then put the game together for that. IT SUCKS!!!!

The only music in the game that doesn't really suck is the music in scenes that have a lot of action in it. Then the music sounds like something from the movies, maybe, dare I say it, LotR, which has fantastic music. No, foret it, it doesn't sompare to that. :P

I also have noticed that this game is nothing like PSO in terms of scences. When a scene starts, it's as if the game producers are making an ode to X-men: the Official game. If not, then why the hell are there sloppy painted pictures on my PSP screen moving about stiffly and without motion, when the PSP is capable of 1000x more? huh? the opening sceen looks like something you would find in an early Mac game, liek Sid Meister's(sp?) pirates. They were sloppy and not even that colorful, although most of them took place in space. In game FMVs look better than the opening one... ??? WTF was that supossed to do about the game's status, turn low expectations high? No, it doesn't work like that, trust me.

The real reason why this game reminds me of PSO is the battle system. There are very unique weapons that are pretty much dandy to use in the game. There are weapons that spin, shoot, slice and dice, blow things up, make you god, or just drill, and they all work well in the game. Just like PSO, each weapon type has it's own combo that can be interchanged with the combos of other weapons, maximizing damage to your foes. Also, each hand can hold two weapons that can be changed anytime by the press of two buttons. However, the battle is so repetitive, is so repetitive (???) that you find yourself, youself (???) doing the same combo all the time because, all the time because(??????) it's the one that works. This really tears the near perfect weapon system down to shreads. Dreadful, simply dreadful.

You'd be surpised at how many things can happen on the screen while you character is acting, and the frame rate doesn't decreased at all. That's pretty impressive for the PSP. Even Dynasty Warriors has trouble with that, and still this game manages to slow down less than the console versions.

This game's stages are pretty much bland. They arn't random, and they are pretty colorful, but whenever you clear the section of the map you are on, the enemies are gone; forever. No going back to level up on the toughies, they are dead for good. This makes you feel like a bastard as you run down long corridors (your character moves slow until you gain a certain skill mind you) that drag on forever more sometimes, and hyp... hypno.... zzzzzzzzzz....... HUH? Excuse me hypnotize you.

The best part about the review: the camera!! But wait! Not because it is good!! No, siree, but because it's ****ing horrible!!!! Why do I fight the camera more than I fight the enemies on the screen. And, I ironically, you will indeed fight the camera only when there are tons of enemies heading your way. Sometimes, you'll be walking forward to a group of baddies, and then "OH ****!" says the camera man, "sorry!" But by then you have hit the air, and the enemy will have surrounded you =P

This game is not even a rent. I don't know what to do with it! I was the only one who bought the game at my game store, but that was probably because know one heard about it. They shouldn't and should really be cautious about this game. Unless you like PSO a lot, and see it in this game as well, then this is not even a rent. a 6, out of 10. Adam Sessler style.
