Overview

Its just about Christmas day, everyone is gathering in the town square for the lighting of the tree. The light is switched, a bunch of crazy people are gather around the tree..? Huh, wait, ZOMBIES!

Story

The story is well scripted, and it unveils at a fairly good pace. The basics of the story is that some viral diseases is turning civilians into zombies. Ironically, your blood is immune to the disease. Don't forget your blood makes the zombies go...BOOM!Whats your job as a cop to do? Your job is to go around shooting the zombies until there hurt badly, then you make them go BOOM(!) with a special gun that is directly connected to your blood supply. The story unfolds right before you go into a mission when your boss talks to you through a radio. Their is even some humorous parts in the story. Overall the story is pretty good, nothing to spectacular though.

Game play

Infected is a very addictive game. There are 6 different types of Missions. Each of them have PLENTY of zombies to kill. Others, have a lot of civilians to save. The single player missions get repetitive, but there is a solution...MULTI-PLAYER! There are 4 types of game play modes in Multi-player.

What is cool about Infected is if you win a match on-line you can...infect the other players PSP System. This means the other player has your avatar and 3 of his/her missions are infected with your virus, that means all zombies are
you. He can beat the mission or infect 3 people to get rid of the virus. This is a very unique feature that makes the game really fun.

Graphics

The graphics are really good in Infected. The textures on the Characters are really good and the blood splatters are superb. The only bad thing is, that some objects aren't solid and you can walk right through them. Plus, not all
objects are not solid, some are, which is quite strange. Other then that, nothing to rant about the graphics. Overall the graphics in the game push the PSP.

Audio/Controls

Infected packs the basic audio files...the grunts, moans, and the gun shots. What makes Infected stand out is the soundtrack, jam packed with rock bands. Bands like Slipknot and Chimaria created the soundtrack. The soundtrack
really matches the mood of Infected and that is a big plus. The controls are done nicely, even with the lack of a second joystick. A lot of the aiming controls require you to push button combinations, but they are easy combinations. The combinations are easy to learn and come natural when
you start playing Infected.

Conclusion 9/10

This game is really fun and is really addictive. IF you have a PSP and want a good fast paced game, get Infected. I recommend buying this game as soon as possible.
